Teen-016 Colorblind Glasses for Red Green Colorblindness

My dad is red green color blind, and he has never used anything that tried to correct his color vision. He put these on and was ASTOUNDED at the world around him. He was walking around the yard, pointing at the different colored flowers, telling us how my nephew's two different red toys were DIFFERENT shades of red, which he had never seen before. He learned that everything he believed to be red, appeared to be brown to him. When he saw our red brick on our house, he was shocked, and told my mom he was happy, yet kind of sad to realize how much color he had missed out on his whole life.He now brings them with him to different places so he can experience true colors, and it's amazing to see how happy they make him!If you know someone who is red green colorblind, these make an amazing gift!! I wouldn't even hesitate to repurchase if anything happened to his current pair!!

Was excited to get these and gave it to my grandson. He also has light sensitive eyes and he said he couldn’t see any changes from his normal eyesight. He said the grass didn’t look green like he was thinking green would look and other colors I pointed out to him look the same with or without the glasses

I purchased these for my daughter and she saw colors for the first time that she didn’t know were there. However, if you are not colorblind, don’t trying them. I did and it was not pretty

The glasses function very well. A little darker tint than I was expecting. Only reason for 4 stars is that they are fairly small for my size of head and the lenses are kind of narrow. Other than that, they bring out vivid colors better than my last pair.

Scam

These glasses didn’t work for my son. On EnChroma before glasses he tested 100% blue, 75% green and 0% red.When he put them on he said the color red didn’t look much different. Out of curiosity I had him try the EnChroma test again.. his results were.. 100% blue, 0% green and 75% red.That was really weird and interesting to find that he would see red dots with the glasses but not the green that he could see before..We ended up returning them.

My son is colorblind, specifically on the blue purple green…. Type spectrum. Got them as a birthday gift for him and once he put them on and walked outside he cried because the colors are so vibrant he could see them all for the first time in 16 years! Very happy with our purchase and the result!

It seemed like all they did was add red to everything. Didn't help my red/green colorblind teen at all.
