Works great to sand cat scratches out of old wooden trim and door!
I searched for a while... looking for a product that would not require manual sanding (like a hand sander) - but was small enough for the specific job that I had in mind... removing cat scratches from the old wooden trim and a door on our main floor of the house before repainting it. The house was built in the 1960's - and the wooden trim and door are all original. Even though I had never attempted a project like this before, I figured a little sweat equity would be much more cost effective than replacing both. This mouse sander (I'll be honest, I didn't even know such a thing existed - yes, yes, I am NOT handy to save my life! - but, somehow, I was able to successfully complete the task I started out to)... did such a great job! It fit well into the tiny space - the one side of the door trim backs up against a cornered wall. So, it's a tiny space to work in - and of course, it didn't cross my mind to remove the trim first before sanding it (doh!). And, of course, the cat seemed to have preferred to scratch at that corner the most! Darn cats! ...Anyways... I appreciated how this sander fit in the palm of my hand while I was using it. Additionally, it was pretty simple to use - I didn't have to spend a lot of time reading instructions - pretty self-explanatory - even for me! ... plus, I did not have to use a ton of pressure on the sander as I went - which is great for my poor arthritic hands. I ended up using all of the sand paper that came with the sander on this project. My only regret is that I didn't order extra with it when I purchased the sander. I just wasn't sure how much I'd actually use and did not want to store a bunch of it.Overall - I'm super pleased with this mouse sander and the project outcome! I **may** just have to tackle another home improvement project soon (just keep me away from the electrical and perhaps we'll be alright! lol!).

Good idea, bad implementation!
The idea of this sander and it's attachments is great. The execution however is very very bad. This sander is made from cheap plastic. After running it for under ten minutes the pad that holds the sand paper gets hot and soft. With one of the attachments in place (the long triangle one, not the finger one) and running it for about four minutes the whole plate came off during sanding. There is a screw that is used to lock each pad in place along with plastic fingers that are inserted into the base plate. The screw goes into a brass nut that is embedded into the plastic nose/tip of the base plate, it doesn't take more than four minutes for that plate to get hot and for the brass nut to come out because the plastic melts that's holding it. In turn the attachment comes off because the screw/nut arrangement fails very quickly. I like the idea of this sander, but the manufacture should have done a more intensive test of the materials used in the design (assuming there were any tests) before sending this sander arrangement to market. For my use, I replaced the embedded nut arrangement by putting a machine screw all the way threw the base plate and put a locking nut on the end. This solved the weak melting plastic bit, but then the plastic fingers that are supposed to lock the attachment into the base plate came out because they melted. I'm giving two stars because I like the idea of multiple attachments in these shapes, but if it weren't for that... zero would be more realistic for this product. As an update to the plastic fingers problem, I solved this for me by screwing two small (about 1/8" long) wood screws - one in each finger - to the plastic base plate. This keeps the attachments from falling off during use and allowed me to (mostly) finish my project. The part about the number of stars hasn't changed, just wanted to provide my solution to a good design made with bad materials. ;-)

No replacement sheets?
First use today...it worked fine. Now I need to order replacement sanding sheets. Most are 14cm long and 4cm wide. The sheet that came with the Anesty us 15cm x 5cm. (B&D is way longer).I've ordered a small pack of the 14cm sheets to see if they will fit. None on Amazon have the same vent holes nor the tear-off top. I searched for the correct replacement sheets without success. If someone has found the correct sheets for this sander please comment, or say that undersized sheets work ok.If undersized sheets don't cover the pad, and if proper fitting Anesty sheets are not available, I'll probably return the sander despite it's excellent performance. If the replacement sandpaperpaper issue is satisfactorily resolved I'll increase my review to 5 ⭐

Perfect Sander For Those Hard To Reach Places :-)
The media could not be loaded. This sander is a life saver if you need to get into tight spots. As you can see at the end of my video review I am sanding an Amish Oak Rocking chair which has some really hard areas to sand. This is working out very well as it comes with some extensions that allow you to get into the tightest of spots. It also does a great job of collecting the dust into an easy to empty catch area. I think you will be very happy with this sander as the price is fantastic and it use the hook and loop sand paper. This is especially good if you are changing between different sandpaper as it is not damaged when pulled off.Hope this review was of some help. GrandpaJake

Using finger type accessory
Ordered sander for finger type accessory for sanding project having narrow access areas. However, the brass attaching bolt seating popped out after sanding a while so to finish project it was necessary to complete a "field fix". See final photo 3. The sander did the job as the vibration was very good. Please note! The motor noise is the loudest of my 5 hand sanders so please use ear protection!! Also, the "sanding dust" collection should be rethought due to leakage at the tools motors front opening and collection paths.
