Works great!
Pretty much an updated exact replacement for our 2010 F150. The old one was leaking through a very weathern-worn gasket and trying to remove the light to change the gasket resulted in the light simply disintegrating. Ordered this one and it fit perfectly. It does not fit flush with the truck body but it follows the lines just fine - a thick gasket seals between the light and the metal. I had hoped that the white LEDs would add to the backup light strength but no such luck - they're brigh enough to give some light in the bed but even that is just okay - the bottom of the light body blocks the lights from lighting below the wondow, but that's not a big deal in my opinion.Happy with the light, the price is right and it was easy to install. It took a second to realize the wiring was prewired to plug into the light sockets and then another second to figure out what plug went where. There are no instructions but all-in-all, it was pretty easy...

Review
Easy installation, I was done in 5 min. This was great product. The screws didn't fit but I just used the ones I already had so no worries.

Easy as 1...2...3... Done!
I received the package and it was in fine shape with the product inside wrapped up in bubble wrap with the lens covered in shrink wrap. Very nice and protected. I gave this an overall 4 star review simply for the fact that there were no instructions. There were two simple rubber washers? That I did not end up doing anything with for the install. However, everything is straight forward and simple. Remove the old lamp/housing, detach the factory bulbs, and plug in the new LED squares and boom! You’re almost home. Once re-installing the housing with the factory screws you are done with it. Just be sure not to over-tighten as you may crack the plastic housing on your new product. A tip, I used a black sharpie on the old factory screws to black out everything, so we’ll see how this hold’s up versus spray painting the screw heads.Lastly, I really like the new piece on my F-150 as I continue to black out all the emblems, logos, light housings, etc. The only thing about this product is that it does NOT sit flush against your cab. It does protrude slightly about…1/4” of an inch or so, but it provides a nice sealed attachment. Hope this all helps.

Looks decent from behind, but not up close
I bought this because my factory light had begun to turn brown from water getting past the gasket. I saw this same one on someone else’s f150 and decided to buy it. There’s a difference though. Her truck was black. Mine is white. The issue of fitment is much more pronounced on my truck than on hers.So let’s get this out of the way. It doesn’t fit properly against the roof of the truck. At least the top of it. There’s a gap. The gasket properly fills that gap so there’s no leaks, even through an automatic car wash, but since mine is a single cab 2 wheel drive, it’s noticeable to me. If it were a lifted 4x4 I wouldn’t notice it.The brake light itself, I don’t know how bright it really is during use, I can only see what it looks like on my security cameras as I’m leaving my house, and it looks decent. I will say I was rear ended last week. I can neither confirm nor deny that this was the culprit. The cargo lamp sucks. Its useless. I have an 8’ bed, and it shines only on the last two feet of the bed. If I had a 6’ bed it would miss the bed completely. It plugs into one of the cargo lamp plug sockets so here’s another issue with it, it stays dimly lit for a few minutes after the cargo lamp turns off. I don’t know why.Another issue, the provided bolts. Don’t use them. They won’t work. You’ll have to use your factory bolts. It took me probably half an hour to get one of the bolts out of this light because they were secured in there with nuts for some reason, and it would not thread out for the longest time. After working it over and over eventually it rethreaded itself and was able to come out. Irritating.Long story short, when I get around to it I’ll be buying a replacement, but it won’t be this one.

quick install and thick foam to keep water out
I had a leaking rear third light on my 2012 ford f-150 which caused water in my roof and looked at replacing the gasket, but this unit was about the same price and I'm glad that I did!Was a very quick install (Used the factory screws from old light since they were longer).Reverse/Cargo light is much brighter than the factory which is nice for working in the bed at night. Will update if there's any water leaks...
