I've had this phone for just over a month and I'm totally taken by it. I've never been lucky with phones.. too flimsy, too small, too easily broken etc. I'll never buy a Nokia or a Samsung again.The phone works brilliantly. It's a pleasure to use and I have no worries about breaking it... it's extremely well made and looks great too.The battery lasts for days and days and days... no more daily charging. If the phone only had this feature I'd have bought it just for that.I wanted to buy a phone that would withstand a fall, a knock etc. and I was very lucky to come across this phone.Other positives include a massive screen, lots of storage and I find it very easy to navigate.If you are in the market for:* a phone that is well built* looks good* performs quickly and efficiently* contains a battery that lasts for days and dayyou need look no further than a JCB Toughphone Max. For what you get, the price is very reasonable .I'm expecting this phone to last me a long time. When (If) it evers does bite the dust, I guarantee you that I'll be buying a JCB phone again.Did I mention that I love this phone? It's a beast! An elegant beast!!

Good things first:Its a great size, weight, uses USB-C and seems to have a responsive screen.The poor:Ive used it 3 times for navigation while connected to the car using android Auto. it has disconnected each time refusing to reconnect leaving no choice but to turn off, restart and reconnect - a pest on London roads.It over heats while charging, causing charging to stop and so you get to your destination with a scorching hot, uncharged phone.Im ashamed to admit I love the scrabble app. This phone struggles to play scrabble. it's not a high demand app - surely?It doesn't have 5GIt doesnt have a 3.5mm head phone jack

You can make phone calls and it's not broken yet. Two good points so 2 stars.Strava does not work with phone, keeps crashing. Other GPS based apps work poorly. When traveling with wife, her phone accurately displays location. Mine cannot find gps, sometimes takes 5 mins longer to locate.I don't take many photos, but even so camara is also poor. Does not focus well especially at closer distances.Looking forward to it breaking so I can replace

Was a gift, partner is really happy with it, We did have an issue as there was no information about adding the second sim, we thought we had been sent the wrong or faulty phone which Amazon quickly sent out a replacement, but in the meantime I had contacted JCB who confirmed there was no fault but a print error in regards to inserting a second sim. Other than that it seems to do everything he needs, its smart and not as heavy as I thought it would be. Good value, charger wire is really good quality and extra long.

Quite heavy but great for texting and is indestructible (or seems to be to me as a tradesman) amazing battery life (7 days approx) and after sales care is 5 star!

My wife decided I needed this after breaking two other well known brand name phones in the space of 12 months. I'm clumsy so tend to drop them. With this phone, I have dropped it on hard surfaces and in water (not intentionally) and it's still working and no cracked screen. My only issue (which is why I gave 4 stars not 5) is that the SIM card/memory card tray is very very finicky and hard to put in. Took ages for me to do. Apart from that, no complaints.

Bought this for my son for Christmas. Front facing camera not working, tried all troubleshooting but it's clearly a hardware issue. Only "refund" option available, no option for replacement. I'm assuming it's because of increased price difference. Rang Amazon but got nowhere. Very bad form to have to pay more to replace a faulty phone, which needless to say I won't be doing...
