Purchased these to put around our second residence, as its in a rural area and who knows what happens when we're away. Thought adding something of a deterrent to the lights and cameras would be a good angle.Setup:These are great. You push the button on the back, it beeps and blinks according to the mode its set to- it has this code reference on the back of the light with the button. Nice.Set these to beep and blink after dark (mode 3). Placed them around and that was that.Came back one night, and boy oh boy did I light the world up. Motion detection is excellent. Range for these is somewhere around 100ft. They are very obvious (once the pop off). I briskly went around and turned them to mode 4, which is blink at night only. They did. All night. Batteries never went dead. Excellent. 100% would recommend.Oh, did I mention they're water proof? Yeah. I am not 100% on the waterproof, but hey get more weather than the rain forests and haven't missed a beat, so... Excellent.

Works great!! I have setup around my chickens yard to deter the coyotes. Has been a big help. I don't recommend using zip.ties to secure if you ever want to turn them off or change settings. The button is on the back of them.

We are very pleased with these. They came quickly and were packed very well. The only negative comment I have (NOT to do with the seller) is that there is no way to determine what mode the alarm is set on. I took them into a dark closet to set them for the alarm and light to go off at night. When I brought them out into the light they went off. I did this a number of times, finally gave up and put them into the garage waiting to take them to the garden. When we would pass them, some would go off, some of the time. They DO WORK in the garden at night, however, so that is what we are looking for. One does not have to be really close to them to set them off. They cover a good distance and are quite loud and the flashing red light is also quite good. Hopefully, the deer won't get accustomed to them and ignore them after a while. Yes, I would recommend these!!

Works ok. Flashing light and alarm good. The ad suggests a dog barking alarm. Doesn't do that.

I bought these to keep critters away from my coup at night. They actually work, although I can't use the solar aspect because the coup is under shaded trees, but the plug in usb recharge works well. I only have 3 at the coup, so I rotate them out each week. The siren is loud. I can easily hear it from 100 yards away (which is how far the coup is from the house , 287 feet), and likely loud enough to hear easily at 200 yards away. The motion detection part also seems good. Here's my issue, but not with the devices,...it doesn't bother the racoons or possums one little bit. They climb the 8 foot 4 x 4 posts and go right into the run with sirens blaring. Fortunately, the chickens are in the coup behind an auto-close door. What they are after is leftover food scraps I had dropped off for the chickens. So, I have to make a second trip back to get the remainder before dark. While I wish the coons were stupider, and thus these devices would be great, I'm stuck with an effective device that isn't effective. I'll have to consider other options.

We put up 14 of these around our chicken coop and they are working great! I test them every night and tge work like a charm.

It’s hard to tell which setting you have them on. You really don’t know how they’re set until they wake you up at 3:00 in the morning. We intended to use these to keep the chickens off the porch and out of the garden. Worked great until they started randomly going of for no apparent reason. No wind, no animals like a ghost was setting off one after the other. Have become completely useless. Huge waste of money.
