Fantastic & powerful tool with a light!
I absolutely LOVE this mighty little screwdriver! I paid $19.99 for this, during a special price promotion. Worth every penny! of We were rehabbing a home and needed to replace all the faceplates/outlet covers etc. My husband was busy replacing hinges, so the drill was occupied. On a whim I decided to order this to make my side of the project easier. WOW. This little guy is substantial in the hand with a night weight. There are several attachments/bits to use. The best part, in my opinion, is the light at the end. So helpful! I do wish it came with a storage case though. I found a random case made for this here on Amazon, and it does the trick.

Super handy
I have a bunch of great power tools. And I have a bunch of great hand tools. But I've always been annoyed when I have to do something repetitive but somewhat delicate like unscrewing outlet and switch plates or taking ceiling fan blades down. Those aren't the right place to bust out the DeWalt....so I finally broke down and bought the cheap little electric screwdriver I've always needed but never prioritized. I wish I had done it 20 years ago. This thing is surprisingly heavy duty....the little light is handy. The adjustable angle is a nice perk for getting into awkward spaces. Having adjustable torque in something this compact is also an unexpected bonus. It makes everything so much quicker. It also lasts quite a long time on a charge and conveniently charges via USB C which I have a million of all over the house if I need to give it a boost. The only thing I will say is charging isn't particularly fast, but unless you're using this for commercial purposes I can't imagine a task you couldn't complete on a single charge. So if you're on the fence just pick it up. If it's on sale even better! I'll be using this thing for a long time to come.

I LOVE IT!!!
This is a handy tool for light-duty tasks. The pivoting head makes tight spaces easier to reach, and the torque settings help prevent over-tightening. USB-C charging is convenient, and the battery life is solid. The bit set and case keep everything organized. It’s not a full-sized drill, but for furniture assembly and small repairs, it works great. Worth it for DIYers!

Better and worse than the older version
I own several of the older Skil 4v screwdrivers, and absolutely love them. This model is an improvement in a lot of ways, but dropping the non-contact voltage detector is not one of them! That was the biggest reason I recommended these to everyone. Having that voltage detector built into the screwdriver was a bit win for safety since I never skipped checking (and double-checking) to see if the wires were live. With a separate unit at the very least you have to switch tools, but it's also likely you'll forget to grab it in the first place, leave it at the bottom of the ladder, etc.The new one does feel a lot more solid than the older model, and is comfortable to use. Basically, just a significant step up in fit & finish.USB C charging is a big win for me; I really only have a couple devices left that I regularly charge which use Micro B, and I'm very much looking forward to making that number zero. The pivoting mechanism is nice, though I doubt I'll bother with it very often (I would *much* rather have the non-contact voltage detector). The window so you can see the drive shaft is a nice (if somewhat gimmicky) touch.I think the biggest win for the new model is the ability to control the torque. The old one solved the torque issue by just not having enough power to do any damage, which honestly worked great. If you needed to break something loose you could just give it a quick manual turn, then engage the motor once it was free; in both the old model and the new one, if you don't engage the motor it locks so you can use them both as manual screwdrivers. The new model also provides 3 different torque settings, but honestly I'll most likely just leave it at the lowest level.I slightly prefer the ring trigger mechanism on the old model, mainly because it is in *exactly* the right spot for how I feel most comfortable holding the screwdriver, and the orientation of the screwdriver doesn't matter. With the buttons, the reverse button is in the perfect spot, but the forward button is a bit too far forward. I didn't appreciate how nice it was that the ring was just always in the same spot, regardless of direction or orientation of the screwdriver. That said, the buttons are in a pretty good spot, and the ring is really only slightly better in my opinion.I usually prefer the locking bit retention mechanisms like on the older model, but I think they actually did a pretty good job with the magnet in this one; it is strong enough that I'm not worried about the bit falling out, but it's still easy to remove bits when you want (looking at you, Makita bit holder!). Given the choice I'd still go with the locking mechanism, but thanks to the quality on this one I'm okay with it, and truthfully the magnet is probably is a better choice for most people. The old one also had better lighting, with two LEDs instead of one. This was nice because you always had at least one LED not eclipsed by the bit holder. I'd *love* to see an illumination ring like Skil has on their 12v impact driver... That said, the light does still work pretty well so this is a pretty minor win for the old version. In the end, I think I'll stick with the older model as long as I can; the safety improvement from the non-contact voltage detector is just not worth sacrificing for the few small non-safety improvements. If Skil puts out a version of this with a non-contact voltage detector instead of the pivoting mechanism, though, I'd definitely be all over that.

Perfect for Big Projects!
I recently used the SKIL Twist 2.0 Rechargeable 4V Screwdriver to replace over 50 kitchen cabinet doors and drawers, and it handled the entire job on a single charge! The pivoting head made it easy to reach tight spaces, and the adjustable torque settings provided the right amount of power without stripping screws. The USB-C charging is a great modern touch, but I barely needed it thanks to the impressive battery life. Lightweight, comfortable to hold, and surprisingly powerful—this tool is a must-have for any DIYer or professional. Highly recommend!

Excellent tool
It works great and I've been using it to open my computer case and laptop. It's not heavy and you can do lights duty stuff around the house without needing to get the big drill out.

Best screwdriver I have!!!
The media could not be loaded. This is an awesome tool I thought it was so weak and small, but no it has a lot of power for its size it is not an impact tool but it does have three torque settings!!! Ps the battery lasts forever not literally but it does last a long time!!!

SKIL 4V Pistol Grip Screwdriver – Better Than Twist 2.0!
I initially bought the SKIL Twist 2.0 but found it lacking in power and overall functionality. I tried the SKIL Rechargeable 4V Cordless Screwdriver, and the increased torque was immediately noticeable. The Pistol Grip design provides a more comfortable and stable hold, making it easier to handle tougher screws and repetitive tasks. The enhanced torque and longer battery life outperform the Twist 2.0, and the built-in LED light is a great feature for working in tight, dimly lit spaces. If you’re choosing between the two, the 4V Cordless Pistol model is definitely worth the investment. It’s simply more reliable and efficient. However, the Twist 2.0 is still a decent option for lighter, quick tasks.
