I tell everyone about this because I refuse to gatekeep this best kept secret! This stuff is my key to liveliness, energy, mental health, as well as just overall wellness. I can really tell the difference in how I feel when I don’t take it. This gives me energy, and kept me healthy during covid. I don’t notice any smell or taste, or if there is it’s very subtle. Also, they are easy to swallow. I really trust NOW brand to give you what they said they’re giving you, without any added ingredients. This is a great product from a trustworthy brand!

NOW is a great brand with reasonable prices.This organic Spirulina is great-excellent antioxidant, immune support and heavy metal detox aid. Bigger size but not unpleasant smell.

Had a roommate years ago, who ran/participated in ultra-marathon races (as in 50 miles, 100 miles, or even 24 hr. marathons). His running friends swore by using spirulina. They said it helped them with muscle soreness. I kind of laughed it off, as my running mileage was tame, compared to theirs'. But I never forgot what they said about spirulina. Years later, my body gets sore from hard mt. bike rides. I will take spirulina and usually within 30 minutes, I notice that my soreness has faded. And that is with only taking about 1/2 of the dose that the bottle suggests. Been using it for years now, and it is always with me, for hard workouts, vacation biking trips, or any time I know my workout is going to be strenuous. I usually take some the day afterwards, also. I thought his running buddies were just talking 'smack' about their supplements, years ago, but found out that they KNEW what they were talking about. I will say, I haven't found a brand of spirulina that doesn't taste nasty (hey, that's just the way it is), so make sure you have food in your stomach.This NOW brand is cost effective, they are quick to deliver, and make good products (I've used quite a few of their other products). Give it a shot. Pass close attention to your body, and you'll notice it DOES help reduce muscle fatigue/soreness.

These are not capsules they are tablets... if you don't have a problem swallowing pills these won't be a problem but if you have a hard time with large pills may want to try a different product...It says "double strength" but the serving size is 3 tablets and directions say once daily... which is only 3-g... and from what I understand..6g per day is a helpful amount of spirulina.Like that there non-GMO and USDA certified organic... there's no other ingredients just pure spirulina.. I wish they were in capsule form.

This does actually help eliminate bad body odors, naturally. Has a grassy taste, but easy to swallow quickly without dissolving in my mouth. Forest green in color. Did not really notice any improvement in mental clarity, though. I take several supplements for that purpose.

I actually asked AI which was one of the best brands to buy for spirulina and it said NOW was one, some am glad Amazon had this! I got it to help with blood sugar.

I order a lot from Amazon and I never leave reviews but I had to with this product. I’ve heard amazing health benefits about spirulina. I’ve tried the powder and it’s awful no matter what you mix with it. The serving for this product is 3 pills daily. I’m not gonna lie, they are huge and a little difficult to swallow. If you take your time, drink lots of water and take one pill at a time, it’s doable. Ok so health benefits. I’ve been taking them for a week. I immediately noticed way more energy and brain clarity. I sleep better at night. I also have less sugar cravings and eat less throughout the day. I’m mostly taking this for general health but also to lose some weight. So far so good. Very pleased with this product and will continue to purchase from Amazon.
