I refill my cat's food slots in the late evening and add a freshly frozen ice pack to ensure the food stays cool throughout the night. In the morning, about 7-8 hours later, I swap out the used ice pack for a freshly frozen one before heading to work. It's a quick and easy process, making it very convenient!Pros:~ Keeps food fresh for 8+ hours~ Simple to use and swap outCons:Over time, the ice packs can develop a smell. But, this is expected since they warm to room temperature and stay under pet food for about 8 to 10 hours daily. It’s not a fault of the product itself. To manage this, I recommend washing the room-temp ice packs with mild soap and COLD water after every other use.I currently have this set along with the pack that came with the feeder itself, but I wish I had yet another pair to make cleaning even easier! Especially to cover those times when I forget to place the room-temperature packs back into the freezer. It is helpful to always have a backup ready.This product has been a lifesaver for my family and my cat. For the best experience, I def recommend purchasing an extra set (or even 2 lol) so you can always keep your cat's food fresh and cool. Trust me... Your cat will thank you!

OK, bought these for my cat bowl but confession time, they are the best at keeping lunches cool for hours.Durable and easy to keep clean.

Update- they were really helpful to get me a refund. It only fits the Frost model, not other IPettie models, it states that on the page and I missed it. Updating to 5 stars because if I had the right feeder it would be a good product.It doesn’t fit my feeder. I thought it’d fit since it’s same brand, but I can’t get the feeder to close with these ice packs. I have the iPettie Donuts 6-Meal Automatic Wet and Dry Food Pet Feeder with Programmable Timer, Auto Dispenser for Cat and Small & Medium Dog, Batteries & USB Power Supply, White. Very disappointing I guess it’s just made for the frost model but there should be ice packs to fit the other models.

I did not like the programming of the timer system. The ice packs only lasted 5-6 hours in an air conditioned home.However the system cleaned fairly easily.

So glad I listened to the reviews to get an extra set of ice packs for my petit automatic feeder. I use my feeder daily. No interruptions with wet food feeding.
