For what seems like years I considered getting this and finally I splurged on myself because I'm worth it! ;) The experience of this shampoo is luxurious. You only need about a teaspoon of the salt paste applied to your hair and scalp. Just make sure your hair is wet first. What I noticed most about this right after I got out of the shower was how clean and refreshed my scalp was.Normally my scalp has been a little itchy lately and today I'm feeling total calm and no itching! When I feel my hair now that it is all dry I can sense the softness and I notice more body and fullness to my fine hair.This product does not weight down hair, but rather lightens it as it removes product build up. And if you use mousse or gel you will appreciate that aspect of this cleansing shampoo. Since you only need to use so little this is a good value! I love Goop products and can also recommend the lip balm which is so wonderful. I just got more!The scent of this salt scrub is also more like essential oils - it is not that strong but you can definitely tell there are essential oils in this! So a high-quality product.I'm happy I finally tried it and will get it again. But one container is going to last a while!!! You only are supposed to use it every three or so shampoos but I can see myself using it even more often because it is so fun to use.~The Rebecca ReviewP.S. Hands down the best shampoo I have ever bought. The price is steep but we'll worth how it makes my hair feel. I received it previously in an ITSY box and ran out, and had to get more. My hair had never been this healthy. I am sold on this product for life!

I’ve never written an Amazon review before but am for this product because it has changed my life every ~3rd wash. My hair has never felt cleaner, scalp refreshed, and just soooo shiny without feeling greasy. I have recommended this product to everyone I know.

I love this shampoo. It cleanses your hair and scalp throughly without stripping away your natural oils. A small amount (dime size) worked into wet hair makes a full lather. The scent fills your shower and lifts your spirits as well. I recommend using once weekly to remove the buildup of products from your hair.

My scalp tends to get itchy and I haven’t found the right shampoo/conditioner combo for consistent relief. I use this scrub maybe 2x/month and it does a great job of making my head feel very clean and soothed. My hair feels like straw when I rinse it out but I use it with a deep conditioning mask and that seems to keep my head and hair happy.

It’s just ok. I did my research and read reviews people raved about smell and it’s just ok. It’s smells like essential oils, nothing special. I returned it because after one use it completely stripped my toner I had done 3 weeks ago! My color is slowly showing again. I spent $150 on a cut and toner and it all went to waste after I used this product. Beware if you have color or toner because it will strip it away after one use! Also, it doesn’t specify how much to us and a little goes a long away. I felt like I should have used less of the product because I was rinsing it off forever. I did notice it left some salt behind after my hair dried. Overall, it’s just ok and better for natural, virgin hair without toner or color.

This lathers up more than any regular shampoo which feels great in the shower but is definitely not a clarifying shampoo, hair needs to be washed 2 days later limp and greasy feeling.
