Bought these to plug a extension wire hole but they are on the small size, the wire was to thick. So I split the plug down middle pushed wire through used a bit of clear silicon to make it water tight. Did the job so not all lost. be perfect for thin cables.

Perfect for cosmetic covering of a hole through which coaxial aeriel cable passes.The "barbs" don't grip very well so I used some clear silicone as a back up for extra security.

The photo on amazon shows barbed lugs on the grommet, suggesting that it could be held in place when inserted into your wall. What was delivered did not have the lugs shown on the picture. So what I have will slide back out of the hole just as easily as it slid in.The product quality was poor with thin flaky bits of plastic hanging off the edges. I could live with that if goods were as described, but it's still poor compared to the price of decent fixings in general.I've requested that this product be returned for a refund, but so far no response has been had from the supplier 36 hours later . We can add poor service to the mix of things.

Good stuff i recommend to anyone its very durable and is tough does what its made for just needs a spot of glue.

Used in conjunction with Masterplug weatherproof socket to fit cable through house wall. Really finished the job off and looks well. Pretty tight fit to stop insects etc from coming through hole. So much better than silicone filling. For the money you cannot be beaten. Would recommend.

Would be better if they were split on one side to allow pre-made plugs to be passed through
