Great value for money
I bought my dad a stunt kite for his birthday (long story) and on the instructions it said the ideal wind speed for flying it is 10mph, so I thought he would need an anemometer to make sure the conditions were optimum for whatever you do with a stunt kite. Absolutely cannot complain about the quality of the product for the price. If it was required for something more critical than kite flying I would probably spend a bit more, but this is absolutely ideal for its intended purpose. Very easy to set up and use, the buttons are intuitive (apart from turning it off, press both together) and the rubber case and lanyard are really useful. Nice and small as well so it fits in the pocket in the kite bag perfectly.

Good bit kit
Got mine for drone flying. Don’t always trust my weather app especially at different heights. Really useful. Would recommend checking the silver battery contact strip is slightly pulled out as mine was flat. Having looked on line found how to fix as I nearly sent back. Highly recommend

Rubbish
Rubbish . It's 24 mph winds (fact) .it says 4.7 mph. Dangerous for obvious reasons when flying a drone. Straight in bin .

No case!
Works ok. Would have expected a material case or something to keep it in as the blades are very delicate

Perfect for Drone Safety
I use this as part of my Drone Kit with the inspire one and I was quite impressed on it's ease of use, and how sensitive the device is. The smallest of gusts turns the small blades which is translated as a reading on the display. This information is available on websites such as the Met Office isnt always accurate, If you are climbing, flying a drone, or walking in the Lake District - there's no better way to measure the weather than exactly where you are.The Anemometer is very lightweight, it only weighs 73g so it's unnoticeable if it's in your pocket. The device comes with a yellow silicone jacket which protects it from light moisture and minor accidents.weather information can be important, areas such as these have there have there own micro-climates, and the weather can change quickly. The Proster Wind Speed Anemometer/Thermometer is a small compact device, that you can put in your pocket or backpack which can be used to accurately measure (+/- 5%) wind speed as well as air temperature. The controls are simple; using the Mode & Set buttons you can set the preferred units of wind speed measurement i.e. MPH, KM/H, MS, knots etc. The °C/°F button toggles between temperature reading between Celsius & Fahrenheit. The LCD display is large and clear, everything you need to know is displayed on a single screen, this includes wind speed, temperature & battery life. Pressing the mode button illuminates the backlight for approx 10 seconds.Overall this is a great little device which can be useful for all type of outdoor activities. It's small, lightweight and tells you almost everything you need to know about the current weather conditions, I highly recommend it.

Pocket size wonder!
Nice compact wind gauge, fits nicely into pocket and is easy to use, takes standard CR2032 battery and works well, I bought out of interest what the winds speeds where when I was out hiking, and it lightweight small design makes it perfect for this.
