Brass Double Male Hose Connector

Just great for the job.

I am delighted with this connector which I have used to join two expanding 50 ft hose together. It took about 5 seconds to do and it works perfectly with no leakage at all.

Last year I found myself becoming something of a hose connector nerd - after years of struggling with a dodgy connector to an upstairs neighbours outdoor tap. Now I've bypassed that and have various sections for front and back, all running if I want from a kitchen sink pillar tap. I've got just about every type of connector under the sun! The double female Hozelock connectors are absolutely fine as a route for joining two lengths together, but this brass double male is the business- not so much as a single drip leaking. I use it with two of those standard Hozelock connectors/adaptors, one on each of the two ends you want to join, using this in the middle of course. Instant connection/disconnection.Well worth the money. Couldn't believe it was drip free but it is! The same can't be said of the plastic ones even though of course Hozelock is all great stuff.

The connector is of good quality but I found it was tricky to get both my hose connectors to connect to it successfully. This was just due to the release shrouds of the two hose connectors being able to get in each other's way when pushed together. This might just be due to my type of hose connector.

Item is okay didn’t realise it was only a single when ordered therefore it is well overpriced compared to the other brand ordered which is equally good and a two pack for similar price also doesn’t come with spare rubber seal rings.

Bought to connect 2 female hose lock ends. The brass connector is a tiny bit too short which means you can’t just push the connectors together as one of them won’t seat properly. It requires quite fiddly fitting to ensure a good deal but works fine thereafter.
