12G Safety Flag

Works well for 12G but it can be a bit fiddly extracting it from the breech when you are ready to shoot. The ramp that loads the next shell is in the way (Benelli semi auto). However you can just gently push this down. Key thing to note is the ribbon colour was different than in the pictures, mine was delivered with a white ribbon not red as shown

The one that's advertised is not the one I got.My one is a plastic strip with the words gun safety, very rigid.It does the job but I would have preferred the one advertised with the material strip.Brendan

Napier has now plumped for a white flimsy material for the flag, which was pointed out at the club as “ not as visible as the orange” it’s a disappointment really as this is the third one I’ve owned, what ever happens to orange nylon like material that didn’t stain, it will do the job, I’m now sourcing material to replace the white. This review does not reflect on the retailer selling an already repeatedly purchased product by users.Since using the auto-Safe it’s fallen apart, and I have repaired, where the flag goes around the shaft of the chamber stop, it’s heat crimped really quite poorly, causing it to part, Napier can’t tell me I’m using is wrong, because the last one lasted 15 years, before it was passed on to another user, who still has it now..

Well made and does the job but had to wrap a strip of electrical tape around the top so it doesn't fall out of the chamber when the gun is held upright. Got a Beretta a400 and it's just a bit small head space wise but the electrical tape solved the issue.

Excellent device. Fits the breech and when activating to load it slams shut and prevents firing and the red plastic flag hangs out of the sideInhibits the trigger. I bought 2 by mistake but better safe in case you lose one when out

Good flag - nice and small when rolled up and not being used (think 3/4 of a 12-bore cartridge size) and very visible when in the breech. The finish is good and smooth so slots in the breech easily.
