Doubted it would work for two average ladies to carry an extremely heavy piece of machinery up some stairs. But not only was it so simple to use, we could literally let go of the item as the weight is carried on your body/shoulders. Hardly felt heavy at all, when before we could barely push it anywhere! Ingenious and highly recommend.

Very easy to use and great for lifting large awkward objects.Moving house we did not have for loading the van at the old house, but had arrived by the time we were unloading at the new one. With the Shoulder Dolly the process was so much easier, the items of furniture that had been hard to hold/carry could now be moved with ease.Only caution is to make sure the strap is threaded the right way otherwise can slip under load.

Believe it or not this helped us move a 350kg kiln! We had two strong men strapped in to the shoulder dolly with the strap going under the kiln, to move over a garden (bumpy terrain) we also had a plank of wood under with people either side. We got it down from some decking over a 1ft hurdle and on to a flat path where we removed the wood and the two fellas moved it themselves!! We could not have done this without the shoulder dolly! One of the guys was a landscape gardener who was blown away with how amazing it was we gifted it to him after we got the kiln in the van. 100% recommended.

Used this over a weekend for moving out of a 5-bed, 3-storey house with SO MANY antique wardrobes and chests of drawers on the top floors. And an American-style fridge freezer. There is no way we could have cleared the house without this: it saves so much energy and struggling.On the flat, it's a doddle to use. Stairs are trickier, but there's a knack to it that you soon learn. (e.g. the bottom person should shorten their strap almost as short as it will go, and the top person shorten too, but not as much.) The bottom person absolutely does not bear all the weight, despite what one reviewer has said.If you're going to be moving heavy furniture, don't hesitate to get this. Absolutely worth it.

This weekend my husband and I had to shift a couple of large range cookers (weighing just shy of 120kg each) we carried one out of the house and carried one in.With the shoulder dolly we managed this relatively easily and quickly, certainly more easily and quickly than without.We only had one step to manage and that was tricky..i couldn’t have managed stairs, not with such a heavy weight so think the dolly is best used when you don’t have steps to negotiate.For reference I am a 5’7 woman of average strength. My husband is 6’2. Our difference in height didn’t seem to matter

I moved an American-style refrigerator easily, recommended for those who have to move.Good quality of the belt and easy to use.
