Just, “Wow!”…
I’ve been bow hunting for 3 decades, and there may not be a corner of the hunting market that has evolved more over the years than archery equipment, ie: bows/cams, strings/cables, limb evolution, riser design and materials, sights, etc. Since the mid 90’s, I’ve only owned 3 compound bows…a Bear, a PSE, and my current Hoyt CRX32. I’m not a hunter who has to have the latest and “greatest” hunting gear/products that jam store shelves and websites and ultimately drain a simple man’s wallet. I do, however, buy gear that I know comes from reputable and reliable companies, and I expect that gear to perform reputably and reliably and, when specifically advertised to do so, increase my effectiveness as a long-time deer hunter; particularly, my accuracy with my rifle, crossbow, or compound. In general, whether using a multi-pin or single pin sight, I’ve had more than reasonable success with my compound bow set-ups. That being said, until I purchased the HHA OPTIMIZER LITE X, I never spent more than a $100 on any bow sight. Man, am I glad I spent a little more on this sight! At just under $200, this sight is nothing less than AMAZING!! Before I bought this sight, I just couldn’t wrap my head around how an expensive bow sight, with multiple pins or a single pin, fixed or sliding, mounted EXACTLY the same as every bow sight available on the market, and basically identically functional like sights for a fraction of the cost, could significantly improve accuracy. Boy, was I wrong! I’m literally dumbfounded at how dramatically the HHA Optimizer has improved my accuracy with my “ancient” (by today’s standards) Hoyt CRX32. Set up was easy if you follow the well-explained directions, and the sight, itself, is so well built and designed. After the initial “zeroing” in with the sight, I was absolutely pummeling my Black Eagle Spartan arrows at 30 yds because of stacking said arrows on top of each other, destroying nocks and shredding carbon on arrows already crowding the ten ring! I literally had to stop shooting between 20 and 30 yds due to my arrows taking such a beating at those distances with this sight! And, this, with a 12 year old Hoyt bow! I have the single pin version of this sight, and the yardage tapes you’ll use on your bow, impeccably calibrated to match the speed and overall particulars of ANY bow, are marked for shots out to 80 yds. No sight I’ve ever mounted to my bow has given me the confidence to shoot comfortably past 50 yds, but with this sight, I’m stunned at how accurately I can now shoot at 60-70yds, and even 80 yds just for the fun of it! I regularly shoot a 3D archery course, nearby, with several fellow bow hunters, and some of them have the latest high-dollar bows that cost over twice as much as my bow, but I consistently shoot as good (and usually better😂) than my buddies with this HHA sight. This sight is just phenomenal, and it’s design, set-up, and performance far exceed its relatively expensive price point, IMHO. The old adage is that the optics on your rifle or crossbow should cost as much or more than your actual rifle or crossbow, itself. I’m not completely convinced that that’s always the case, but I am convinced, after paying more for a compound bow sight than I’ve ever been willing to pay before, that splurging on your optics/sight is an absolute game-changer when it comes to confidence and significant improvement in accuracy, no matter what your hunting weapon of choice may be. For me, the HHA OPTIMIZER LITE X has undeniably taken my bow hunting and target shooting to the next level. Just, “WOW!!”Rev.BrownMonroe, GA
