Sabrett Onions in Sauce 16 oz.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Coming from NYC, it was what the street venders used on their hot dogs and hot sausages. I love it.

Typical New York style Sabrett's. Excellent sauce. Will be ordering more.

This stuff is amazing. It makes cheap hotdogs taste better, and quality hotdogs taste amazing. Just add some brown mustard first and then spoon this over the top. I also put these on brats and sometimes in meatloaf (as the label suggests). It's just a great tasting condiment. It's sweet and tangy. I have purchased it from Amazon twice now because my local grocery store still won't get it. It comes packaged in a neat bubble wrap device specifically for jars.

Arrived on time well packaged; a little pricey but I can't buy this product where I live. The product it's self is good quality and is exactly what I expected.

Great on hot dogs

As a long-time NYer who moved out of NYC years ago, I was longing for the old days of a real NYC hot dog. Remember the days when you'd open a jar of Sabretts and eat directly out of the jar because it was so damned good? Well, those days are gone. I took a chance an ordered a jar online. I didn't have any of the packaging issues that many others have experienced. When I opened the jar and tried to journey back to the old days, these onions tasted nothing like what I remembered. It wasn't even pleasant tasting. Mr. Alan S. Geisler would be spinning in his grave if he tasted these. Like many things in life, I have to accept that some things now are only a memory. Sabretts now only exists in Lost New York.

Taste great--just like the ones in NYC

Sauce was ehhh not my cup of tea least not on a hotdog. definitely overpriced 7 bucks for this is a stretch let alone 12 just grill some onions yourself 🤷🏻
