Good belt for the weekends. Trim it, burn it, put it back together, and whaa-laa. Doesn't come unbuckled like others I've had.

The only the ending metal piece that slides to the buckle is already attached. So if you need to cut it you have to take that off and then reattach it. Attaching it is no problem. Taking it off though to be able to cut it down I can see people that are clutchy hurting themselves or cutting themselves using a screwdriver or something of the like to get it off. I do like that you can take it off and then retach it that's awesome because it doesn't matter if it's too big you can make it your size. I just would prefer they would have sent it with the belt so that you can attach it whether it's the length you need or after you cut it. Is that a whole lot of damage you can do to yourself just by attaching it. Other than that it's a great belt and it stays tight in the color is on point
