FYI: 2mm elastic cord will fit through the holes. I used 6mm black wooden beads in between the 16mm ones to represent the seeds and to allow for curvature. This child's bracelet only cost about $1.20 to make, including tax. The beads are high quality (no flat edges on the round ones and no need to use a bead reamer to scour out the holes). I highly recommend these fun beads.

These beads came as pictured. I had zero problems stringing them with the string/twine that they came with. In fact, I actually doubled the string up (and then beaded) in order to attach the ring at the bottom of my garland. You just have to tightly wrap some tape on the very end of the string before you start. This makes it much easier to string the beads.a few of the beads (maybe 4-5) were a little chewed up on the outside but it was all painted over and not that noticeable. Worth the buy. Makes a cute decoration.

It was very difficult to use. The twine unraveled, the holes on the beads are too small and several of them were not properly drilled. Also, the bead counts were not correct.

The decorative watermelon beads do not have a .04cm hole drilled to string them with the other beads on to the twine. Be careful always find the drilled hole size in any beads sets you buy! I have not been able to use many because the hole is too small!
