K-1264 Pool Kit, Tests for Copper & Iron Levels

It's pricey but really good quality. This is a professional level tool and not something I'd expect a homeowner to purchase.

I am in the process of starting a new pool using an ionized copper/ozone system produced by Eco Smarte. I bought this test kit to monitor copper levels during the start up phase and to help maintain the appropriate level of ionized copper.This kit is just impossible to read in the range in which I need to operate. The differences in color are like the differences between Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee; they are so small as to be totally subjective. Unfortunately, this is a critical area in which I need to be precise. It may work for other applications, but not for this.A note to seller is that the range over which you recommend using this kit would be appropriate. I operated a medical laboratory for over 25 years and I know that the test can be optimized to operate more reliably over a small range more appropriate for this application.

Nice kit, but reagents are old or ruined. It doesn't give accurate readings.
