They are the same plastic HDPE 2 but these expensive ones are a bit thicker .90 mil vs .70 for the Home Depot ones.

Q: What is the best way to clean these buckets so there is no scent or taste left behind?

There is no good way to do this completely. The best option to try is to make a paste with baking soda and water to coat the inside. Rinse it out well and you could try it a second time, but there are no guarantees.

Q: can i use this bucket to make an led nightlight? has anyone done this ?

Put a vinyl decal on it first - then use the programmable LED aquarium puck light - ours says Happy Campers - Five gallon makes a big lantern but it doubles as our yard yahtzee cup.

Q: Will a 20 lb turkey fit in this bucket

The bucket's inside demensions are 11.25 inches in diameter at the top and tapered to 10.5 inches at the bottom. The height is 17 inches. Most 20 lb turkeys should fit, but all are different, so if you can measure your turkey to make sure that would be best.
