Awesome, Non-sweating, lightweight moisturiser
I have been a fan of Minimalist products since Dec 2020. They changed my skin for good. I have also been religiously using their sepicalm 3% oat moisturiser which I loooooovvve among Niacinamide 10% and some other serums from them. But I have to try when they have one for oily skin. Sepicalm is lightweight and really great for my combination skin. I used to have super oily skin but regular care regime with minimalist has changed my skin to a fairly normal type. But still this lightweight B5 moisturiser for oily skin seems to work. It has no stretchy feeling like some oil-free gel based moisturisers do. It's a very hydrating and best of all, non-sweating, moisturiser. I would still buy sepicalm one for night or dry skin days, am in love with that, although I have tried a few other moisturisers like formula rx barrier plus cream for very dry days. But for some reason, sepicalm has the texture i love best.Against that, this B5 gel cream takes a bit more time to absorb on my skin but I love how it leaves the skin well hydrated and not at all warm and sweaty, nor dry and stretchy. Perfectly balanced. Great ingred list, as usual. Love the minerals in this. ❤️😊 Great job, Minimalist. 👌UPDATE:I bought a second tube because this is soothing and hydrating and a great moisturiser to use under makeup. Doubles up as a primer sort of. It is sticky as some other reviewers say, but that's only when you use too much. A little goes a long way. Use like a pea size amount or a bit more, not a whole dollop. This is enough. When used carefully, it is not sticky and it gets absorbed and hydrates. But I have not experienced that burst of refreshing moisture from this product. But I will definitely keep this for the healing ingredients and its primer-function.

Minimalist 10% Vitamin B5 Moisturizer Review (for Oily & Acne-Prone Skin):
It’s a good moisturizer—lightweight, non-sticky, and gives an instant glow with proper hydration. It may help with acne and oil control too. But after 4–5 hours, my skin (which is oily and sensitive) started producing more oil than usual. I think it blocks oil completely at first, so the skin overcompensates later. That’s why I stopped using it. For very oily skin, I personally found Pond’s Super Light Gel to work better—it controls oil throughout the day and is more affordable too.

Best for humid places, not for winter weather
Best for places with humid and hot climates. Not moisturising enough for winter climates or places with cold climates

The quality is amazing but the quantity sucks
Honestly, I am really surprised by this product and how well it works. It has a silicone-like texture and blends very smoothly. The best part is that it has a transparent finish, so there is no white cast.It is perfect for oily skin. I am not sure about dry skin, but it gets absorbed very quickly. However, I am a little disappointed with the quantity — it’s just 50 grams, which will easily get over in 3–4 weeks. Also, the price is a bit on the higher side.

⚠️ Don’t Buy – Harmful Product & Zero Support!
I purchased this Vitamin C Serum (16%) and moisturizer combo, and within 10 days, it caused serious skin irritation and infections. I followed all usage instructions and even reached out to their customer support – but all I got were excuses, not solutions. When I asked for a refund, they kept shifting blame and told me to contact Amazon. Amazon denied any help due to their 5-day return policy. Minimalist refused to take any responsibility and kept offering partial credit instead of a full refund, even after the product clearly harmed my skin.Their customer support is slow, unhelpful, and more focused on avoiding accountability than actually helping customers. Very disappointed with both the product and the service.Save your money and your skin – AVOID this brand.
