Himalayan Chef, 8" L X 8" H X 2" W, Pink

I purchased a few salt blocks on sale locally and wanted to present them nicely for a gift. I purchased these and was worried they would be junk due to the low price. Wow! These are perfect! I made the most adorable gift wrapped in cellophane with this, the block and a salt block cook book that fit exactly. Perfect!

Received broken in 2 pieces but got replaced with a new one quickly

Such a great price too. I made Ahi tuna on this and it tasted gourmet. Watch how long you leave the meat on it though because I recently over salted a few steaks.

It arrived cracked with corners broken off. Kept it and tied it together with string. Have used it this way and it is serviceable and does a fair job with fish.

I ordered two of these as a Christmas gift. The description is "Himalayan Chef, 8" L X 8" H X 2" W, PINK" When I opened the first one I thought, "this is a cool item and...it is as described." THEN...I opened the second one to find that there was absolutely no pink to be seen and could only say confusedly to myself ".......why are you white?" If it grills the same and is still from the grand Himalayans, then I have no qualms. It just doesn't look as pretty.

Gave as a Christmas gift. Recipient loved it so much I gave it to another person for a birthday, they loved it too.

This is my second purchase of this brand. Had my last ones for 5 years & they are marvelous. Be sure to SLOWLY preheat them. Perfect for cooking just about anything.

Not one (1) single photo of the item contains the product that is actually sold or shipped. It doesn't even include a photo of the item's packaging! The listing is "Himalayan Chef Pink Salt Plate for 8" X 8" X 2" Salt Cooking Plate" but it is actually a HOLDER! Moreover, the thickness of the plate is irrelevant to the holder. This listing was intentionally deceitful. All seven (7) photos feature JUST the salt block/plate, without a holder.
