Larger screen, great for elderly
I bought this for my 84-year-old mother who had trouble reading notices on her 5-inch Echo Show. I set everything up for her in the Alexa app on my Android phone, which was easy and painless. She loves the larger screen. If we had more table space, I would have considered an even larger one, but 10" is just fine if you sit only 5 or 6 feet away.

Good quality sound, on occasion have to reboot to use scrolling camera when checking on the dogs. Haven't had any problems other than that. Decent video calls.

It's Abosolutley not as good as the Facebook portal was, it is only last 20 min per call
There has to be a lot of people that don’t know how the portal (Echo Show 10) SHOULD operate because of all the high ratings, or Amazon has put them on them selves. We had the Facebook portal for 15+ years and it has worked GREAT. Don’t know why they quit making them. So my wife an I went with the Echo Show 10. What a disappointment !!!! The thing had to be hung up and redialed after every 20 mins, because the sound and the picture become distorted . It don’t want to listen to the commands a lot. It is NOTHING like the face book portal was. And it not only me I ‘m in TN and I have people in Fla. Who are having the same problem . For the money it cost it isn’t worth it. We have tried every thing, including 1000 GB of fiber optic internet and it still freeze’s and picture and sound get distorted. It a pain to have the hang up and call again every 20 min. If I’d known this I wouldn’t have gotten it. Seems like Amazon would have perfected it Before putting it on the market. Not worth the money they charge.

Amazing Echo Show 10 3 Gen
This is a great unit! I really like how music sounds on it. Using it as a security camera is great too. It follows around when you want it to. My wife and I are no strangers to the echo shows. We had a echo show 10 2 gen before this. We do a lot of shopping on Amazon so the ads are nice especially if it's something new. We have our echo to tell us when something is coming in or when it's delivered. My security cameras work great on it too. I'm really excited about Alexa+ and what it can do. So it will be nice to get early access and get it free since we are Prime members. This unit is very useful. And if you're use to some echo corks it's well worth it. Alexa+ should address some of the corks. I recommend this unit to everyone!!
