I received the well-packed lights and they are in good working order. At first I thought one of the lights was not working, but found out I had a bad power brick and that it wasn't the fault of the lights at all (something to check on your end if you have a problem when you plug them in). I'm in the process of putting the LED lights through their paces, but so far I'm very happy with their performance and function. They are bright enough to be used as accent lights for my YouTube videos (the four settings of brightness are a great option to have), and the colored inserts will help with that, though the blue one is not a deep enough blue for it to be useful for me to use. Hopefully, they'll deepen and intensify that blue one. Until then, I'll add a blue gel over it to get that intense blue I need. The tripods are small and for use on a tabletop, but they are sturdy and fine for my needs. I also use the lights with a copy stand to photograph my paintings. By adding polarizing film over the lights and a circular polarizer on the camera, I can get a great capture with absolutely no glare. So, I can recommend these lights. For the price they can't be beat, and the optional camera cold shoe mounts are a nice touch, but since the lights have to be plugged in with a wire, I doubt I'll be using them much, but you never know.

I love these lights. They’re super bright for the size. I usually put one light on each side of my ring light if I’m needing a lot of light when filming.For all my content girlies that are looking for high quality lights but aren’t trying to break the bank, I would definitely recommend. They’re beginner friendly as well if you’re just starting out with creating content.The lights come with a carrier if you need to pack them up for travel. The lights are adjustable height wise so you can make them as low or high as you need.Battery life is ok. They last long enough to get through a full length video but in my experience the battery doesn’t last too long so keep that in mind.All in all for the price point these lights are worth it.

The media could not be loaded.  These lights are hard to beat for the price. They get pretty bright. There are plenty of lighting modes to get a variety of brightness levels. The accessories are extremely handy and give a lot of much needed versatility. Having differently lighting modes at this price point is fairly rare, but I’m not sure I would ever use them. The build of the lights is pretty cheap, but the lights are cheaply priced so I wouldn’t expect much more. They definitely don’t get bright enough to light a subject even in a room with reasonable sunlight coming through the windows. When it’s dark in a room they are plenty bright, but the light is pretty harsh even with the plastic diffusers included. I’m afraid that is your only option though because using a legitimate soft box would diffuse the light too much and I’m afraid the light wouldn’t be bright enough. I really think these would be great lights for run and gun filming, but the power cable is connected to the light and makes that very difficult. All in all, I’ve been very happy with the lights because of the price point. You can’t really complain if you can get decent lights with multiple modes for $30!!

The media could not be loaded.  The light set arrived excellently packaged. Every item was packaged separately and neatly. I was able to attach the shoe mount with very little effort and without having to read the instructions. Each unit came with a battery. The batteries were easy to attach but I did have to charge them. It took approximately 3 hours to charge them. I tested the battery life while filming a tutorial and they appeared to last about 3 hours each. The brightness was adequate for filming in small spaces. I would definitely recommend using both on a subject. One is not sufficient unless you just want to add a subtle lighting effect. These are excellent for use out of studio due to their easy portability. They also came with a handy carrying case. Overall, I was very pleased with the product. The pricing is good considering you get a set of two plus a carrying case.

I purchased these to see how they stack up to a regular 'umbrella-type' light box set.Let's cut to the chase:PROS:- Portability and very quick set up. Takes you all of 5 minutes to get it going.- Less bulk, so if you want to move them around on the fly, let chance you'll knock someone or something over!- Battery-powered - self explanatory, but this aspect cuts both ways, has pros AND cons. More on the cons shortly.- Brightness is adjustable. Not so on a light box set [most people move them around]- Ability to change light filters. Cannot be done on a light box set.- Good value for money, relative to other LED light sets.CONS:- Number one problem? Not bright enough! There is no way this can compete with the light box set. No matter where I place them, I still get far more shadows than when using a conventional light box set.- Battery-powered - Again, a two-edged sword. Batteries last, on average, 30 minutes until you need another recharge. Some photo sessions will take you much longer than that. Then you are out of luck for about 6 hours.- Building on that, the batteries are proprietary, meaning, you cannot just get them anywhere once they die out. No idea about the long-term reliability of these batteries.- Lack of an AC power option. Granted, this is somewhat to be expected at this price point. And again, on the surface, a light set with TWO chargers, and a bag, is a great value. But in the long run, if years down the road, replacements are not available, you have no other option to power these lamps.Now you have the full picture.
