BUG-A-SALT 3.0, Yellow, for Fly

Aim slightly lower , like 1 cm lower than where it should be, and go in close. It’s an excellent gun.It’s the best thing we’ve tried, not to mention good fun, one day I was using it after 2 weeks using it, and it just locked up and won’t let me reload. Too expensive to buy again if it’s only going to stop working again.It’s a realShame. It feels well built, and no batteries, I can such high hopes.Hopefully this is a one off, and the rest are fine, I’m really sad it broke, I wanted to contact the seller before writing this review, but I didn’t get the option to.Only downside is salt everywhere, I was cleaning g salt off work tops a lot, much better than having flies though, but we did end up trying to get them on the floor or on the bottom half of the walls so the salt didn’t go everywhere. If you have bother with flies.i think this is definitely worth a try.

It's hard to justify the price but if you can spare the cash this is great fun and very effective.

Let's face it no one wants to use fly spray it's smelly and still takes a while for the flies to drop, electric bug zappers are only good if the fly is in mid flight and you are fast enough, this salt gun however, with a decent enough aim can solve your fly issues with about as much fun as you can possibly have shooting salt at poop eating insects, I feel like a hunter on the serengeti, and the fact it only uses salt is fantastic, cheap to refill.I filled the hopper to the top and got a good 40 odd shots before it needed filling again and eradicated so many flies that now this hunter can hang up his boots and pit hat and retire for the night.Absolutely fantastic product no faults from me.Additional note: most gun scopes on amazon will fit the top rail, I have a red dot scope on mine. (Not all of them though check sizes first)

You need to get very cloe for a one-shot kill of anything larger than a small fly. Wasps, with their hard exoskeleton, are very tough. A rolled up newspaper is more effective and quicker.Indoors, don't forget to clean up the salt afterwards or you may face awkward questions from your partner.

I bought this for my partner for his birthday and he has embraced the task of ridding the house of flies and other insects whole heartedly! Before I gave him this, any insect in his domain was an annoyance, but not now. It is an extremely well made piece of kit and quite weighty. It was not cheap but because of the enjoyment it has given him it was worth every penny! I am not actually strong enough to load the bug a salt but this means that he is the only one who uses it. It works incredibly well and doesn’t make a mess when the flies are dispatched. He just vacuums up the salt. Having said that his salt consumption has gone up! He said that it is the best present he has ever had!

I bought this while drunk and forgot all about it. Once it arrived I thought I'll give it a try, Omg this has to be the best drunk item I have ever bought. (Even though its caused me more nights on the couch than I think warrants lol) it's easy to use and fill with salt. (Justale sure the Mrs/Mr is out of the house before you go all John Rambo on some creepy critters. (Also quick tip, have the hoover on standby so you can quickly clean up before the Mrs/Mr gets back home) real talk though, this does handle a few of the more quick buggers flying about the house, flys, moths, heck even wasps get stunned with it.Also the only reason the Mrs let's me keep it, is because it works on spiders as well, just hit at an angle as they tend to jump out. Also I'm sure iv heard the Mrs go on a few rampages with it. Defo worth a buy.

Lots of fun

Use a larger grain salt. Just get your aim right and it works a treat. This isn’t a sawn off shotgun- you need to aim like a long barrel shotgun. Aim it well and learn the right range. Tip: Don’t kill flies on white walls.
