This probiotic arrives packaged better than any I've seen before; they say this brand is #1 in UK and Ireland and I can see why. Just looking at the packaging one can tell this company cares more about high quality than the US companies that put their product in plastic bottles. This arrived with plenty of time to expiration and safety sealed. The capsules are easy to swallow with no weird after taste or flavor. I love they are gluten and dairy free. This seems very good for my system.

I have an AutoImmune condition and have done work on gut health. I always look for a company that specializes in probiotics and it's not just another supplement to them. I look for a good dose & i like to vary them to get the variety of strains. Having said that Bifido strains are my personal preference. I like that this is in a dark glass container. I like it is 75 billion with good Bifido content. I am gluten free & so is this. I was surprised it had such a long shelf life - two years. I cannot speak to the value of this, that's kind of a personal judgement cal. I would like to try the Optibac Everyday Extra next, which has great reviews.

Hard to tell what works while you take multiple vitamins and such. But I have no reason to doubt it and not like there are any side effects to show. So whatever, peace of mind.

I was using Optibac Everyday Max for a couple of years. It contains a good blend of strains that have been studied for respiratory health and constipation relief. The packaging says you can take two, and I have had to take two capsules in order to get the full benefits. So this brand has drawbacks (1) the price makes it very expensive to maintain use long term (2) the stearate fillers (3) low dose of the strains. I found the Renew Life brand version with the same strains at a much lower price and an an considerably higher dose of the strains- and no stearate fillers.

I didn't want to rate this too low, because I've suffered no ill effects, but I honestly have not noticed an improvement with my bloating and tummy issues. I have only been taking this about 10 days and plan to take these until they are finished. I will update if things improve.

After a week of using this probiotic I noticed a change in how often I am going to the bathroom. I used to go once a week and I was always so constipated. I had horrible stomach cramps and gas pain. After I started taking the supplement I noticed my gas pains were gone and I no longer have stomach cramps. I am always going every day now, sometimes multiple times a day. I am very pleased with the probiotic and I will be ordering again once my current bottle is finished.

My only complaint for these probiotics is the retail price. It is pretty steep, but that doesn't change the fact that the quality of these probiotics is superb! The glass jar they come in keep them fresh, they don't smell or taste bad, and they have different strains to support digestion. I have taken them for about a week and I feel just fine - no side effects. They can be especially useful for people that suffer from GI distress. They're vegan and I am very into them. If you can afford them, I recommend them!!!

There’s a lot of probiotics out there nowadays and not all are created equally. With so many different genera and species available, it’s important to understand the difference to get the right results.I’m looking for a probiotic to assist with my wife’s lactose intolerance. So the bacteria genus she needs is Lactobacillus which produces lactase, the enzyme for breaking down lactose. And ideally the species she needs is acidophilus because it also fights off female bacteria.So this product is ideal with the primary bacteria being Lactobacillus acidophilus.Otherwise for any probiotic, the general goal is also to decrease bad bacteria so that the good bacteria can take over, and Bifidobacterium lactis does just that.Long story short, this probiotic provides just what we were looking for. At the moment we’re only on our first jar and it can take sometime before the long term affects show themselves.I’ll also point out that it’s vital for the culture to be living, so thankfully the jar includes both “MFG Date” and “Best before” dates. My jar was just made 3 months ago and have another 2 years before it dies off, so no worries there.Altogether good, just not 5 stars because I’d prefer probiotics to be delivered in cold pack to ensure living culture.
