Found the Mouse in My Engine Area. Great Camera Quality.
I don't have a lot of uses for this, until suddenly I did. A mouse (dead) was somewhere in the engine or under the hood of my car. This camera was on sale, so I decided to get it and figure out where Mr. Mousey's little corpse was. The cable is a little more rigid than I expected, so it was a little awkward working the camera (eventually found the rodent in the wheel well interior) and boy was it a good picture. It took two of us working together to get deep into the area. Not sure if it should be this awkward, but it was the first use, so maybe it needs some wear and tear to become more flexible. The picture quality was amazing. This comes with a hook and a magnet but neither was going to work in my case. So, for now, the decomp has finished its process so at least the smell is gone. I can't wait for another opportunity to use this, but preferably not in my car anywhere. It will be fun to use almost anywhere I need to get access to so I can locate an issue or a body!

Neat Gizmo - will come in handy
I came across this device when I was trying to figure out how to inspect under my deck because I've got some critters getting under there. I bought it because it was on sale, so I got it for less than $60 and it works pretty well for my purposes. Seems like a good value for the price I paid. I'm sure it will come in handy on future occasions. It is a little difficult/awkward to manage by yourself, holding onto the camera body and the working the bendable part into position to see things, but I was able to use it well enough. It takes pictures and video and it came with a 32gb micro sd card which all seems a pretty good value to me.

Great if You Understand the Limitations
I bought the Depstech Dual Lens Endoscope specifically to investigate a perplexing drain clog and discovered a number of things that don't make this - or probably most endoscopes with a semi-rigid optical cable - a good choice for situations where the camera needs to negotiate a series of sharp turns:1) The optical cable is too stiff to negotiate tight bends; especially where multiple bends are involved like, traps.2) The Depstech's camera has a sharp edge at its leading edge which catches on pipe joints and any imperfections. This also exacerbates the problem with negotiating tightish turns.3) The included hook attachment - with its rounded end - would be a great way to overcome the limitations with the camera's sharp leading edge, but the metal it's made from is thin and fractures easily. An endoscope with an articulated camera would have helped solve my problem with the camera's sharp leading edge catching on things, but the semi-rigid cable would still be the limiting factor in negotiating tight bends or multiple bends.Based on my experience then, I wouldn't recommend this Depstech endoscope - or any endoscope with a semi-rigid optical cable - for use in pipes/ducts/hoses where tight or multiple bends need to be negotiated. For straight runs or runs where maybe only one bend needs to be negotiated, you'd probably be fine.I did end-up using the endoscope to investigate the layout of my plumbing inside the wall, and it was great for this, so into the closet it'll go awaiting its next (appropriate) assignment.Otherwise, the Depstech endoscope seems well made. I didn't exactly baby it trying to run it down my pipes and other than the fragile hook attachment it came away unscathed. The Depstech endoscope came to me fully charged with a decent set of printed instructions. After a quick formatting of the included memory card, it was ready to use. Battery life also seemed good.So not great for what I initially intended to use it for, but I'm sure I'll find more uses for in the future.

Great for the price
The picture and build quality is decent, but great for the price. My unit failed just within a year, but the manufacturer was quick to respond to my email, and sent a replacement unit quickly once I provided video proof of the failure. There are probably better quality products, but this one is fantastic for the price, and a good customer service department is priceless.

Good picture quality
I was impressed with picture quality. The cord seems to be long enough to get into the tight spaces. I would have like the enhancement to zoom a little more however overall really liked quality.

Very clear picture
I make quilts and I needed a way to see underneath my long arm to check my tension. This works awesome in that department, the picture I see on the camera is very clear, the light on the scope is nice and bright. Very easy to use…charge it before I used it.

Great customer support
I purchased this endoscope 3 years ago. The battery stopped taking a charge and I contacted the company about this. They replied to my email within a day and suggested a few things I could try. Nothing worked the unit was dead. The company replaced it for free and I had it 3 days later. Great customer support and service.

Needs 4 hands for best results
The picture quality was good but it was a struggle to hold the base unit in one hand, and simultaneously manipulate the semi-rigid scope with the other hand. Because of the rigidity of the cable, any movement in the base unit immediately rotated or moved the camera out of position. For my use cases, this camera needed two people to operate - one person to hold the cable firmly in place while the other held the base unit and pressed any necessary buttons. Gonna return this and try out the smart phone compatible unit by the same manifacturer.
