Missing letters and horrible printing

Don't even think of buying this book. The printing and typesetting setting is horrible. Missing letters and spaces will ruin your reading experience. The book itself is good, such a shame it's printed horribly.

About Mr. Dick I can only conclude he was an enigma

The Last Interview: Philip K. Dick [review 0787 - author biography - February 12, 2019] This book consist of 6 interviews with author Philip K. Dick (1928 - 1982) over the period 1974-82. The last interview took place several days before his death from a stroke on March 2, 1982. Reading through these interviews I was alternately incredulous, mystified and astonished. Which, upon reflection are some of the same reactions I've had reading his fiction. In many respect it is difficult to discern which of his responses were utter self puffery, outright fabrications or honest reflections. Although I've read two biographical books* about Mr. Dick I can only conclude he was an enigma. Fans, admirers and scholars will find much to contemplate in this most remarkable book.*The Search for Philip K. Dick by Anne Dick Divine Invasion - A Life of Philip K. Dick - Lawrence Sutin

PKD, great mind brilliance and mental illness

Wish the book had more interviews of PKD. A couple of interviews clearly show you that PKD had some SERIOUS mental disabilities due to his paranoid schitzophrenia. (sp?) After having read between 30 or 40 of PKD's book, you can understand how his mental illness benefitted his writing and also the times it did not. You can literately feel when an episode of mental illness is coming on, sometimes sparked by a question. Complex man and complex ideas--maybe that is why I have been reading PKD for over 35 years and have never grown old of his work. His work is speculative, and addresses honestly many of the questions we wrestle with in our day to day lives. The human condition. Though most of his work is sci-fi, his ideas are timeless and probing. Sometimes, most of the time, giving us some of the answers we might not really want to know.

Too Short

This book left me wanting more. The content was good, but too short. Felt that they could have gathered more interviews.

Interviews of Philip K Dick

Not by Dick, it is interviews of Dick by several interviewers. It gives an interesting view of the man's psyche and corrected a few notions I had about him. On the other hand, the final interview seems either delusional or a put-on.
