Full flavored Decaf!
This is a bold, full flavored coffee! Love the Decaf in the afternoon.

Decent decaf, medium roast, mild intensity
I use it for a second shot with a dark roast, caf. Makes for a well balanced espresso without excessive caffeine.

Not worth the money
The pods are not packed as tightly with coffee as those by Illy. My machine has a pressure gauge and I can see the difference between the two brands (4 vs.12 for the Illy). You can taste the difference, too. There's less coffee flavor as a result. Don't waste your money, unless you want to use two of these ESE pods for each cup...

Good
These taste great and are like the full caffeine ones. They are easy to use as well.

Skunked
Update: last order arrived in a bag that was covered in some hippie patchouli goo/oil and Amazon doesn’t allow returns or replacements for this item!! Hate to leave a bad review on this seller since it’s clearly an Amazon warehousing issue but Amazon left me no choice! And for anyone thinking the ESE pods are individually vacuum sealed so it doesn’t matter: it ABSOLUTELY DOES matter! This entire batch of pods is skunked out and ruined. Amazon should change the return policy on this item.~~~~previous review:Yes, water runs through faster and that seems to be what contributes to the best crema of any ese I’ve tried. The flavor is delicate but there is a distinct citrus note. Also, i seem to metabolize it better unlike other coffee that seems to exude from my pores (unpleasant)

I love these pods!
I love a good latte, but it has to be right - strong and rich (two or three shots per 12 ounce glass.) I can't stand bitter coffee, and can't even drink most coffee from drip makers. I have an espresso maker and I use the Lavazza decaf pods when I don't want as much caffeine as a regular cup, sometimes mixing one or two decaf with regular so I get the flavor without as much kick, or all decaf if it's in the afternoon. If you "subscribe and save" it's very reasonably priced. The pods make it easy to make multiple shots back-to-back, because there's no cleaning needed, you just knock out the pod and put another one right in.Some things I've noticed:1) You get better results if you carefully center the pod, and use a tamper as you would loose coffee (even though they're not supposed to need it.)2) The Decaf espresso loses color earlier in the extraction process than the regular. Since I use the "watch carefully until it turns blonde" method of knowing when a shot is done, I've had to go a little longer with decaf.3) This is about all pods: If the espresso is watery or clear from the first drip, pull the cup away and stop. The pod is not centered and you're passing water around it.

Lavazzo Decaf Expresso Pods
My husband has an expresso machine that fits these Lavazza Decaf Expresso Pods. We recently purchased a bag of 40 decaf pods and they were delivered on the exact day as told. My husband tried the decaf pods and they worked out perfectly and would purchased them again. The expresso coffee is delicious and don't be afraid to try it! It's a good deal. We never realized Amazon sells this coffee until recently explored on-line.

Lavazza Rocks!
Order regularly - both decaf & full caffeinated. I get the caffeinated in a much larger qty (150 ESE Pods) and a Lavazza branded package. Wishing the same was available for the decaf...
