I bought this book as I was buying "Light of Egypt" because it was "frequently bought together" from Amazon. Compelled by the art on cover then by the description.This book has opened me up by confronting emotions that were always there but needed released. It is such a perfect book to get people on their journey to true self discovery; to your Authentic Self (as the author puts it). If you want to understand more about the unfoldment of your Divine Self, Spirit, Sacred Body, Stillness from within, the reality that we each self create, dreaming-self, the stars, Christ consciousness and so much more....This Book is will take you on your own journey as the author unfolds his. I will treasure this book as one of my favorites. It's led to so much more. Ryan really outdid himself here. Highly recommended read!

I am enjoying Ryan’s inspirational and educating book despite the extremely poor,if any, editing. There are glaring typos all over the place as well as grammatical errors and wild typesetting which sadly detract from the book. The book is sorely in need of major editing.

Very in depth. I have a lot of knowledge on the subjects, so I know he is on track. He explains these subjects very well. Very few people are able to grasp this material anyway, so if you are one of those people then this book is most likely not coming to you by accident.

This is an Amazing read for the open minded and inquisitive heart. An ingenious slant to challenging everything we know from dogma to history to science and steeped in the ACIM vein of "Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists."

This book takes you on a journey to self. If you consider yourself courageous, open-minded reader, this is for you. I started this book at one of the many pivotal times in my life, a time when I was going through some major shifts in perception. I would go through periods of reading with intention to understand, to process, and would then come to a place of absorption and acceptance of the words and their transmission and power. The concepts that sometimes slipped away from my mental grasp are mainly still felt and known. It gave me a nudge during an intense transition phase. I would read a page, a paragraph, feel it. Sometimes research, sometimes just assimilate. The book exudes intimacy and authenticity from many perspectives: emotional, intellectual, heart. I appreciate how he doesn't overexplain. It doesn’t feel preachy or overpersuasive. When I felt lost in facts, there would be a touch of a question or a thought from the author that would alert my awareness. I would read and attempt to not comprehend.There was an influx of information and I re-read the book to integrate more. I wrote sticky notes and noticed the shifts of my awareness from old notes I had written when I was reading previously. By the end of the book, most of my questions were answered from the beginning. This is a validation of an intention and silent agreement between the book and the reader.The book is obviously the result of immense hard work, and I appreciate the rawness and love that is put into this beautiful expression of creativity and vulnerability.Cohesively the book portrayed for me a message of love, deep connection, integration and oneness, a validation of my intuitions. If you seek you shall find. With the intention, I found exactly what I was looking for.. plus a little bit more. As I read over, I feel these concepts, once again, as words I have known before.

Great read. Well researched and thought provoking.

Sun King magically pulls the reader deep into the ancient world of symbology, numerology, etymology, and dreams. Mr. McMahon artfully interweaves personal and imaginative storytelling throughout his novel, as he challenges his reader's mind to reevaluate the cultural, historical, religious, and societal norms to which we have grown accustomed, and possibly accepted, without question. Mr. McMahon has certainly done an immense amount of research and soul searching in order to produce this artwork. This is not an easy read, allow time and space for the esoteric concepts to sink in and ruminate with these ideas intellectually. But just as the reader may begin to feel overwhelmed by the vastness and power of this work, we are provided with guidelines as to how to incorporate these epiphanies into our existing lives. As the author states, when a book of this magnitude is encountered it is "not to be intellectualized, but realized in the soul of the (reader.)" Being the first printing, there are a few places where the novel loses flow and reads a bit fragmented, but then the prose gains momentum again and delves into another thought provoking passage. Definitely worth reading, if your mind and heart are open enough to engage in these ideas. Well done, Mr. McMahon.

Curious style, stick with it, follow the curves and the leaps. Ryan moves through esoteric science, spiritual tradition, language, numbers, the creative imagination and personal experiences of deeper connection to the self, the source. All traversed in a grounded and engaging manner, from the heart and with the head. Nothing pink and fluffy or new age about this work. I finished feeling like a fellow explorer in the rich world that is always by our side, but requires commitment and courage to experience beyond the usual intellectual and sensual constraints. Unreservedly recommended.
