AMDRyzen 9 5950X 16-core, 32-thread unlocked desktop processor

Works good as workstation+gaming at 3400-5000 with Ryzen balanced profile. TUFx570, AK620, Gloway 4x8GB were set by default at their 3200 (in comparing with 3900x), no crashes yet. Compilation in VS is very fast, also good for gaming. Power consumption max what I saw is 140w, max temperature while hard multiplayer gaming is 76 C (bottleneck is my Vega64, but still smooth 60-70fps at 2k).Coming fast, thank you!

A great CPU, all the cores. As an x570-plus chipset owner, this feels like itll bring me another 5-10 years of use!

My unit was a repackaged OEM, not retail unit so the box looked different. But Terragen makes use of all 16 cores/32 threads and there are no stability issues, so this is a legitimate CPU. Just keep the CPU cool. It's far easier to do with liquid cooling.

I want to start by saying that these came exactly as advertised, unopened, new in box 5950x processors. I know some people have been saying they received open box and wrong processors and I want to say that I received exactly what I ordered.Now, if you have an AM4 x570 or B550 motherboard, make sure your bios is current and up to date, and you can probably just drop one of these in to upgrade what ever you have in already making them very nice in that regard. I went from a 3600x to 5950x and have seen no power consumption changes that are noticeable, the increased speed has been nice, my motherboard automatically overclocks this processor to 4.6ghz so not maxing it out, but not running at base specs either. I picked up a Corsair Nautilus 360 aRGB cooler for this and it seems to cool just fine, my package temp sits around 51c, which is about where my aging 3600x sat.. I would say dollar for dollar, if you dont absolutely need top of the line and your just looking to upgrade a bit, this processor is a good value for the money.

Speedy upgrade, upgraded from my Ryzen 5 1600.Shipping was only 6-7 days instead of the suggested 2 weeks.

Good price for a pretty substantial AM4 upgrade. Tons of cache and pretty good benchmark scores, and better RAM speed support.

Excellent chip. Bought my am4 motherboard in 2017. Due to construction on home haven’t used my pc in 2-3 years. The old chip was liquid cooled. Upgraded my ab350 bios installed this chip and all I can say is wow. What an upgrade. That’s all. AMD rocks. I do both content and gaming and it handles both quite well. Temps are good. I need to do some tweaking as I get 60 idle and 50 when under load.
