Yes they are huge, but these are the best amino acids I've ever taken. Have been taking for a couple years now and they are the only thing that keeps me from getting sore after a hard lift (I'm talking can't move for days sore). If I stop taking the soreness comes back, but taking about 2 or 3 doses a day helps tremendously to be more consistent in the gym.

These tablets are large and difficult to swallow for a 70+ year old guy, even after cutting them in half. I choked on a 1/2 tab today, but my spouse saved the day (and me) by applying a little Heimlich maneuver. I solved the issue by getting out the trusty blender and ground the monsters to a fine powder. Next time, I will order the amino in powder form.

FINAL UPDATE:After further use, I finally found the best way to take them without choking yourself. Grind them up in a blade coffee grinder. We use one for other herbs and stuff. They grind up into a fine, chalky consistency that will kind of billow like smoke. I then put the equivalent of 2 tablets (or more) into smoothies and protein shakes for an amino boost. It is virtually tasteless, but a bit chalky; adding cinnamon helps, too. I still maintain that these are too large for any normal person. Once these are gone I'm going to experiment with different BCAA or Essential Amino powders and continue to use in smoothies and protein shakes.UPDATE:My initial review stands...these tablets are too large for any normal person, and I would not consider myself normal as I have a high threshold for swallowing pills.
