The Chill pack is great. It is more convenient than using individual ice blocks in the lunch bag. It keeps fruits and veggies chilled (not cold, but chilled) nicely until lunchtime. It does add a little extra weight to the lunchbox, but not significantly more than slim ice blocks would.The size of the food sections is bigger than the ones in a lunch box without the chill pack. - And I find these slightly larger sections make for a better serving size.The lid on the chill-pack lunch box opens straight up, but does NOT open all the way to lay flat. It’s not a major problem, but it is clearly easier to pack the non-chill-pack boxes which open flat.All three of my kids have one of each type of lunch box. We switch types with the seasons, using the chill pack boxes during the warmer months - to school, sports, pool, etc.All of our Bentgo lunchboxes look like new. I do hand wash them, but it’s quick and easy. Super durable. Latches and seal work great after two years. Bentgo lunchboxes, lunch bags, and backpacks - Our first and only choice. The company and products do not disappoint.

So enjoyed using this for a lunch. I used this as an adult female and it was perfect. Had half a wrap sandwich , fruit, and broccoli salad. It is a kid’s bento so it is on the smaller size. I take a long lunch - really snack through so it is the perfect size for me. Great quality as it is substantial not flimsy.

Work great but are not dishwasher safe. Besides that they keep the food cold and organized. Easy to latch and seems to seal well.

Already had 2 for great grandkids and now need a third. They are awesome for taking on trips etc.. fit in back packs well. Stay cold for a good amount of time when use the freezer pack.

We love it! My daughter is starting Kindergarten this year. Can’t wait to see how her lunches do. We hate when her cold items don’t stay cold anymore. And she can open it herself very easily.

Had an issue, but we worked with the customer service and they were amazing! We really enjoy these, they've been awesome for our kids this school year. :)Tip: The outer shell is not dishwasher safe- just the removable tray. I missed that the first time ordering these, and they got damaged. If you just wash the inside in the dishwasher, they are fine.
