The wire is firm but flexible enough to make clean, precise loops, and they're easy to sterilize with a flame.If you're having any trouble with the loop picking up cultures, just choke up on the handle a bit to get better control and pressure — that tip made a big difference for me. Metal Loop is very flimsy
This product works as advertised but using it to sterilize with a inductive heater makes the loop like a west spaghetti. You cannot overheat it because it because very flimsy.
