It is definitely a premium product. I've used it for a week now for a lower back injury (herniated disc L5 S1) and it's definitely providing some relief.I've got one in the freezer, which freezes well without going too hard and still very flexible for comfort, and that lasted quite well on the skin.I've had the other one in the microwave, and finding that perhaps doesn't retain heat for quite so long as i'd hoped, but then it's no hardship to put it back in the microwave and go again. That said, the heat does provide nice relief and no risk of burning.It's nice and slim, not too bulky at all. In fact I use it daily whilst sat in my home office, with no issues or discomfort. It doesn't get in the way.My only criticism, and perhaps a bit picky, is that the inside face of the belt (the net area) could be a bit softer - the velcro strip can be ever so slightly scratchy if you don't get it lined up right when inserting the pouch. That said, the overall neoprene construction is really nice, stretchy and comfortable.Overall, I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a need for cool/heat therapy on the lower back.

I brought this to help ease the pain from a slipped disc, this is comfortable to wear and easy to use, it comes with two pads so you can have one for heat and one for frozen, I use both from the freezer, they freeze quickly and when you take them out they are not too solid where you can't mould to the way you need. This strap fits well and keeps the pad in the area needed which is great and this is the first one I've used that works this well. I have recommended this to family and friends and they too love this!. Definitely recommend.

I purchased this to relieve back and hip pain. It has been fantastic. It is easy to use - I alternate hot and cold press. It is comfortable. I forget I am wearing it and have even popped out still wearing it!!There is one problem that the company needs to try and resolve. That is the gel bursting. This happened to me even though I was using the microwave setting and timings suggested. That would be terribly dangerous for an older person. Looking at the reviews this does seem to happen quite a lot. It needs resolving as a design issue. I would want to recommend this to an older person with chronic back pain but can not because of this. I ordered a second belt because I could not find how to order spare gel packs. That information needs to be more clearly written in the instructions that comes with the belt.

Excellent product I wear it to help my sciatica as it helps take the inflammation away and makes me feel a lot better! It's been designed really well and can be used hot or cold!

My elderly mother hurt her back and was reluctant to take pain killers as she is on a lot of medication. I ordered this to be sent straight to her home and she was able to use it easily herself straight away. The velcro strap gave a perfect fit and as there are two ice packs she was able to rotate the packs so she never was without the cooling pad. It was very effective at relieving pain and the ice retained its coldness well. The product is not bulky and is light weight. It did not get sweaty or smelly in use.

Great when I first got this. Lovely and warm or lovely and cold, and the two gel packs means you can easily switch between hot and cold.But I only got around a dozen uses from this before the velcro wore out and it kept falling off. Very difficult then to keep it on as clothes peg etc ping off. Then, shortly after, the pack I used for hot ruptured in the microwave with all the hot internal gel spilling out.

I am really pleased I bought this product, I don’t normally write reviews but after 8 weeks using this twice a day I really can feel a difference. I have had sciatica for 14 months pains down my leg especially in the morning. It may just be a coincidence but the pain has gone, still have a little ache but doesn’t drag me down. For the price it would be worth giving it ago better than using sprays or popping pills.

I’m using this one for the first time and am very impressed with it.Comes with 2 gel inserts. This is very well made, there are no sharp edges like you get on some and all seams and stitches look like they are precision made. It is well designed too and fits easily, I’m a large size 36inch waist and fits perfectly but it’s Velcro so will fit most people I imagine. Does up at the front so no twisting to put it on (unlike another one I tried which does up at the rear side and was impossible to fit without an assistant!!) and sits perfectly on your hips to cover your lower spine.The material is nice and soft too.An excellent, well designed, well made product. And I have been using ice/warm packs for many years and don’t do many reviews either!Super. Thank you
