Perfect for our low fire table. Expensive but seems well made

This tank sits on its side under out Ooni Pizza Oven perfectly. When we need to move the table there is no problems with the tank. The guage on its nice also. Also good looking tank.

I was hesitant to order after reading some of the other reviews, but took a chance on it anyway.The tank I received appeared to be new (Original hydro date was 9-22) with a new valve and gauge. There were a few nicks and scratches, but nothing out of the ordinary. If you're expecting to receive a tank with a pristine, showroom finish, you're dreaming.I took it to the local lpg fill station and they put 4.6 gallons of propane in it. The next day I had left it in the back of my truck and heard a slight hissing coming from the pressure relief valve. Since it was 98* and the sun was beating down on the tank, I moved it to the shade and the hissing stopped within a few minutes. So apparently the pressure relief valve is working as it should.Overall, this appears to be a good tank and cost less than having the leaking valve replaced on my old tank.

I have had my eyes on the Flame King for a while now to add to my propane capacity over the standard 20lbs. While priced a bit lower than the competition on their website, it is finally available thru Amazon for even lower. While it isn't a fine example of welding expertise, it is serviceable for its function. My only concern is that horizontal pressure is different from upright and, therefore, not as consistent a flow, but this could smooth out with more use...If you could use more capacity to last thru the winter and have room for a horizontal, the Flame King is a solid choice. Adds capacity/fits exactly as intended to service my propane three burner stove and heater for my boat...

I sometimes carry my propane on a hitch rack on the back of my promaster RV, but sometimes I don't want to use the rack & prefer to put the tank inside. ( it runs my little fire pit, no more wood campfires for me)BUTI didn't know it was illegal ( jurisdiction dependent) to carry a standard tank on its side.This tank has flanges to make adding a piece of plywood so it's nice and stable laying sideways somit fits nice in the storage space.I bought a second one, that's my confidence.

I purchased as a backup tank for my box camper. Had the tank filled and stored away for when I needed it. Went to install long after purchase and found the base plate and front anchor plate are out of square with each other. Tank rocks back and forth in the holder and I don't feel its safe for use going cross country or anywhere for that matter. Will most likely need to be jury rigged for safe use. Lots of money for a 2nd!
