I don’t like mouse pads but needed one for my new desk top as it is too shiny for the mouse. I really don’t like gooey cloth mousepads that can’t be cleaned easily. This is perfect. It’s a bit noisy but with the mouse stickers it comes with, sounds and feels like a regular high end desktop. It’s super easy to clean and looks nice. Plus it always feels cold, which is nice in my boiling hot office building. It’s just what I wanted.

I purchased this because I really needed a firm, hard mouse pad and this is just that. Comes with some triangle stick on stops or some round, more slippery surface. It's a good size, about 8 1/2" x 6 1/2". The metal edges are slightly beveled, not super sharp - but there is a little sharpness. For my use, it's great. The pad is black on both sizes - but one side is smooth, painted surface and the other side is very slightly textured and less shiny. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. It's a shame because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer. I've been doing reviews for over 25 years with Amazon - over 6,000 reviews posted, those reviews have been viewed well over 50,000 times, including well over 24,000 likes. Bottom line, I pay for all my stuff, just like you do.

Ok here’s the thing, I like it - it’s pretty, the noise doesn’t bother me but it is a little scratchy. Smooth for the mouse - I have the apple mouse wireless - I can’t put into words why I’m not obsessed with it but I think it’s as good as it gets if you want looks and function - it works well, not issues, glides nicely - just wish it were a little quieter but am keeping it

This mouse pad is great for working on uneven surfaces. I can use it on my lap or in bed without any issues and tracking works well.

[October 2024]The pictures make this look significantly larger than it is. I barely have 1 inch on either side with mouse and hand on this pad. I just want people to know what the actual size is, because the picture makes it look like you'll have 3-4 inches all around or even more.Just be warned. These things are small and the pictures are misleading. I use the mousepad with Apple Magic Mouse and it works fine. However, I noticed that it bubbled up. I’m not sure if it came like that and I just noticed it or if it bubbled up after I started to use it. It’s a small part of the pad, but still annoying.

Great for using a mouse on uneven surfaces like beds or wire tables.
