Cool device
This thing is cool. I bought it just because I was bored and had some extra money, but it's actually really neat. I used it to measure my nieces and nephews heights, and they all got a kick out of it.Very easy to use, and a decent range for the price.

It is very easy to use. I bought it to measure little league fields and it works perfectly. The price is very good, too!

Easy to use out of the box
I've always used Leica lasers in my job but I wanted one for personal use too (the Leica are very expensive comparatively). So I went with this model since it has similar features. Easily changed from metric to imperial. You can add and subtract distances (which you don't typically see on the cheaper models). It has a nice carrying case and lanyard. Very good value for the money, I've had it a couple months and no issues.

Very handy little gadget
Works great for me! I initially bought it to look at real estate. Great for measuring rooms quickly, and you don't need anyone else with you to hold the "dumb end" of the tape measure. Love it!

Convenient Size and Functions
I really like the size. It fits in the case provided and attaches to my belt. The size allows measuring in tight and hard to get to places. It is very straightforward.

Not good outside
The unit will give accurate measurements when used inside. Tried to use outside and could not see red dot more than 5 ft in sun. The handbook supplied has very small print and is hard to read. Unit is hard to use when trying to measure vertical heights as you have to place the unit on the floor looking up and then press the correct button. Unit is good for making horizontal measurement but then to use that measurement in cuting a board/etc you would have to use a ruler. Iam a DIY and have a lot of experience building and construction. Would nto recommend theis unit.
