I just installed this but it’s a good unit out of the box. I needed the cable it came with and was happy it was longer than I anticipated, I have a long truck (extended cab long bed) and this reached the back with some to spare. Good view angle, good clarity, good value. Not sure how waterproof it is but it will be exposed to water every time it rains, so I will update if it fails

Video is not 4K but it works. Has plenty of wire for a large suv. Still kind of flimsy set up. I guess you get what you pay.

The camera works great.My application is different from most in that I wanted it mounted higher so that I could see over bikes on my bike rack. A camera mounted near the license plate would be blocked when bikes are loaded.I didn't want to drill a hole so I mounted the included bracket to a small black right angle bracket (from a hardware store), that I then mounted to a car roof magnet (purchased here on Amazon). I ran the wires through a gap in the minivan rear window hatch, so no holes were drilled and the camera can be moved if needed.I connected the reverse trigger wire to my backup light wire near the rear left taillight assembly. The included blue snap lock wire tap was too large for my backup light wire, so I used Posi-Tap connectors instead (purchased on Amazon). In the photos, I show them side-by-side. The wire easily pulled out of the blue connector. They fit snugly in the black Posi-Taps. If your backup light wire is thicker, the included blue tap may work for you.I installed the camera with the 'always-on' power option so I can view the video anytime while driving (not just while in reverse). I'm not using the on screen guides (cut the green wire) or the LED lights (cut the brown/orange wire). Instructions say there is a brown wire (my camera had an orange wire, not a brown one).Because I routed the camera wire a longer distance (to the side of the minivan window) than a standard install near the license plate. I needed to extend the wires. So I purchased a waterproof junction box (on Amazon) and connected the wires to the extensions inside that box. That's the small black box with green tips seen in the photo. That is NOT included or needed with a standard install.So far, I'm happy with the video quality.

The media could not be loaded. Awesome camera for the price. Install was easy and image is very clear and crisp. I was reluctant to buy a higher price camera since I was installing on my 09 Honda Accord with built-in Navi that didn't have a backup cam. I wanted to make sure the Navi would support a backup camera so I went cheap. To my surprise this camera is so much more than I expected for the price. Longevity is yet to be seen, I only had it for a week.

EDIT/UPDATEThe company sent me a replacement in hopes that my review would be upgraded. Fair enough… Unfortunately, the replacement was just as bad of video quality as the first. Now, several times every month, they email me asking me to change my review. The whole purpose of a review is to make others aware of your experience. I don’t want to mislead others. So, my review remains the same.I have always used the AutoVox backup camera but thought I’d give this one a try.Big mistake!!One of the biggest things I needed was the smaller bracket option instead of the tag mount bracket.After I had the install near completion, it was then I realized that the small bracket that was advertised in the listing as being included, was NOT included.This was a big deal because on an 05 Rav4, the tag is on the far left side of the suv.So, now I’m stuck with a view that is way off centered for backing up.Not to mention, the connection for running the wire harness through the rear body of the vehicle requires you to drill a large hole to get the RCA and power connector through the hole.The AutoVox has a unique connection that allows a much smaller hole to pass the wires through.Lastly, the picture quality is not as good as the HD version of the AutoVox.This will be my last time purchasing this brand and model.

Everything mounted fine and works great, now. I had to use military splicing to get a good connection from the tiny wires the camera uses for power and to send the reverse signal. It would be much better if they can get decent wires.
