Q: Do these come with hard case of any kind ?

Hi. No. They come with a little bag. I have been using these for driving for over a year now and I have to say they quite good especially at sunset time or when cloudy.

Q: could you wear these at work in the daytime- is the yellow very obvious - do they wraparound (have lost an eye)

Yes, they can be worn at day time. They are photochromic and become darker in brighter lights making the yellow much less obvious. They are not completely wrap around but are good enough for safety at work, I suppose.
