Yacht Captain & Sailor Costume Set - Hat,Corn Cob Pipe,Aviator Sunglasses,Vintage Anchor Temporary Tattoo

I was extremely surprised at the quality of this set in a good way. The hat is really comfortable and even has a lining and ventilation. This is good enough to wear anytime you can get away with it. The hat would be fine sailing I guess. The sunglasses are as comfortable as any aviator frames I have tried, but I don't wear aviator sunglasses. I wore all this indoors so I cannot speak to how the sunglasses would really do for sunglasses in the daylight. The pipe is a toy. I did not think I would use it, but I ended up glad I had it as it added to the effect. Overall this is definitely one of the best bargains I have bought on Amazon given the price. And that is saying a lot. I even got it next day. P.S. I did not figure out how to use the temporary tattoo, but that was OK with me because I did not have a use for it.

Nice set including a real corncob for the pipe, which has an open chamber and draft hole. I don't smoke, but it appears a filter could easily be added between the stem and the mouthpiece, which can be taken off. "Crusher" hats are simply the officers hat with the stiffener removed, popular in the Army Air Corps in WWII because it allowed flight crews to wear their headphones. This set does not include the stiffener, without which the hat would not be permitted dress code in the Navy, especially with a dress uniform, but this set otherwise looks very sharp. Hat has the standard baseball cap type size adjustment clasp in the back.

What a deal! Purchased to wear to a themed party. It was perfect. I got everything all in one package. The hat was much higher quality than expected. Glasses are a little cheap but I won't need them more than a day anyway. I was surprised that it's an actual corncob pipe! Maybe I'll save it to put in a snowman come winter.

I was given a table and chair set which including a fancy Captains Chair for the head of the table. It was only suitable to buy a captains hat. The hat is awesome, fits comfortably and looks bad ass! The aviators are surprisingly not crappy, I wear them regularly and they are well made. The pipe is actually a freaking pipe!! The anchor tattoo looks bad ass but I will probably give it to one of my lady friends because nautical tattoos is a thing for loving the beach or some crap with them I don't know. Anyway I definitely got way more bang for my buck!

Great value for what you get. The glasses are actually functional and somewhat comfortable. The hat has a surprising build quality and is quite breathable in the fabric.

My preteen son was Brutus for Halloween and the hat, pipe and glasses fit great. Ended up using a different color hat but still loved it All were good quality we received several compliments. I like how it was sold as a set and at a great price.

Perfect for my BF to accessorize his costume for our Mermaid & Sailor Mixer! Was fun applying his tattoo, like being in 4th grade again! They even provided a backup tattoo which (I am guessing like we did) can be used after messing up the first one.
