Great quality and Accuracy
The La Crosse weather station is awesome. It's very accurate and easy to read the monitor anywhere in the room. Setup instructions are clear and easy to follow. I set this up in about 10 minutes. I recommend La Crosse Technology weather station.

Pretty good product...
Because of where I mounted the device, I don't have too much trouble with viewing angle. The left/right angle is around ~45 degrees while the up/down angle is only ~25 degrees. That works OK for me though it could be better. The nearest power I have in my RV living room is 12-14 Vdc. No 120 Vac within 12 feet. The power cube that comes with the unit is a 120 Vac to 5 Vac @150mA which is a bit odd. Don't usually see AC supplied to a product like this. I suspect it was so they could use a smaller power connector. What I did was buy one of the cigar lighter plug-in USB power supplies (just $1 at the Dollar store) and modified it to supply the unit with 5 Vdc. It's worked fine since installation with the same brightness and no tendency to overheat. The brightness is fine during the day with bright sunlight outside (but not in direct sunlight), and it's not too bright during the night unless a guest is trying to sleep on the couch below it. In this case, you just need to tap the snooze button twice to dim the display. Pretty handy. I really like all the colors and the visibility from 20 feet away. The radio seems to be a bit wimpy though, it's only 12 feet away from the transmitter and often shows 5 bars of signal. That occasionally drops to 0 bars for no apparent reason. I have to move the receiver around the corner a couple feet for it to re-sync though sometimes it re-syncs without any interference from me. And another problem, it takes 40 seconds for the remote to get around to transmitting. Most remote wireless temperature transmitting units only take 5 secs. The design is probably trying to get the batteries to last 4 years instead of the 1 year that's typical. I'd much prefer more rapid updating. The main display unit takes forever to update and reach the remotes outside temp. This may be the remote, or the main unit, I don't know. This again is probably a battery conservation design. Two HOURS to reach the outdoor temp that my other wireless takes just 4 minutes to reach. Not a very good design. Luckily, I only need this as a reference not as a critical temp monitor.I've been searching for a nice In/Out thermometer for my living room wall for a couple years and although this one is way overpriced, I'm glad I bought it because I got tired of waiting for just the right device, this one with all it's defects will do for now.Your situation might be different.

Great display, works excellent when set up properly.
The La Crosse Technology 308-1414W looked great when received. Read the instructions, plugged in power supply, installed batteries, and waited, temps never changed, both displays read same temp 68.7 degrees with base unit sitting in house and remote transmitter outside (40 degrees)I waited two days to see if unit would correct itself, but it never changed. I did some online research and read more about the unit. The online instructions go into much more detail, I recommend reading them over the small printed instructions it come with. A lot of technical information is left out of the small printed version.I did a recommended factory reset, which takes almost two hours to complete start to finish. After following reset instructions to a tee, the unit now works perfectly. Now it’s just a matter of time (up to seven days or longer) for the barometric readout to stabilize and become accurate. I was expecting this weather station to work right out of the box, but it does take some time to get it set up properly.I really like the look of the main unit display, the screen is bright and can be read from across the room (35 ft) Setup of time, date, and year is straightforward. It can be programmed for high and low temp alarms and also as an alarm clock if you choose.Overall it’s a great looking, functional unit and well worth the cost. I’m already looking into replacing this unit with one that has the wind speed and direction along with a rain gauge. Just follow the instructions carefully and this unit will work great! The picture is the actual unit reading in real time when taken, it’s not an overlay or display shot.

Best Weather Station I have ever owned!
This will end up being a running review, as I just received this yesterday and will update this review as needed. I guess I am missing something as far as experiences of other reviewers go as this was the easiest and fastest working weather station I have ever owned. And I have owned a few - last one - off brand - totally conked out after a couple of years. So after unpacking this new unit, I put in lithium batteries, mounted it on the wall, plugged it in, put lithium batteries in the remote - instant red indicator light, mounted it outside on the north wall - about 12 feet from the unit on a straight line. Before I could even get a chance to set the time it synced with the atomic clock and set - all I had to do was set the time zone. It read inside and outside temps and humidity accurately immediately. Now all I have to do is wait the few weeks for the forecasting feature to gather enough information to be accurate. How simple is that? Love the color display and it can be read from across the room and easily from side angles and such. Couldn't ask for more as far as I am concerned. I live in Minnesota so weather stations like this get a work out here. Will see how it goes from here, but for now it is just super.UPDATEBeen a few weeks and this continues to be a really great buy. The forecasting feature has been accurate pretty much all along, though I believe it will be a couple of more weeks before it is totally functioning - least that is what the instructional manual indicated.
