I have several books I use for reference and need them close by on my desk. Because of the multiple middle supports, I can put just the books I need there without having to expand the bookend all the way out. And, even if they are expanded all the way out, the books remain upright, in there respective spots. They virtually disappear when in place, leaving only the spines of the books as the focal point. I love them.

Using for an ongoing series (in paperback) that I am going to add another book to and many more and this is just right for keeping them all together and organized. Looks more straight on my bookshelf instead of leaning over. Probably keeps the books flat as well over time.

Looks nice. Works well. It was a little less robust than I thought it was going to be but with some initial care when pulling the accordion mechanism apart, it's working just fine.

It holds the book’s upright and keeps them in place even when you remove a book or two. The connected book ends ensure that they will not slide away and the dividers allow you to remove books without any falling down. It is perfect for a wall shelf.

I needed something to keep my books together by my bed and this worked perfectly. I like how I can expand it when i need to.

These are really good bookends. Very easy to use - holds LOTS of books. I like that they can be stretched to my needs. They look GREAT on the ends of my books, too. Very sturdy.

I have six large (11" x 12" x 3.25") rather heavy 3-ring binders in which I keep genealogy documents stored in plastic page protectors. These were hard to store on a traditional bookshelf because whenever I pulled one out, the others tended to fall over. Traditional metal bookends helped, but they don't match the flexible nature of these accordian-adjustable bookend devices. I secured two of these units with Gorilla tape to the top of a 4-drawer metal file cabinet which puts them at eye level for me. When I need one of the notebooks, I just slide it out of the unit and the other notebooks stay upright and in place!
