Worked for my somewhat demanding needs
I have tried different cables without getting the results I wanted, this one worked for me.My Setup: [See picture for layout]Gaming PC, with GTX108034" Monitor with max resolution 3440x1440I needed a cable that would run the distance between the PC and the monitor, its about 4m accounting for slack, so with this cable at 5m, it was longer than needed, but would do.After trying other 'high speed' cables, I found that the monitor could only be driven at 3440x1440 8bit 4:2:2, which, if you have never experienced it, is awful for regular desktop usage, as text takes on a blurred effect, no amount of tweaks to the graphics settings would resolve the issue. So, I bought this one, I can confirm that I can run:3440x1440 8bit 4:4:4 75hzWhich is the max the monitor can use, the clips on the plugs do help [after trying ones without]I can recommend this cable, its nothing fancy and comes with nothing but the bag it is packaged in, but IT DOES THE JOBSlight issue with deliver damage on the first cable, but as usual, Amazon customer services resolved the issue with a next day replacement.

Defective and incorrect product sent
The package I got was a DisplayPort 1.2 cable rather than 1.4. To add insult to injury, the 1.2 cable doesn't work properly either; I keep getting this weird flickering on the monitor. I suppose it's durable but there's no point if it's not functional.

Decent quality and essential for trouble free connections
Bought two new screens and had issues getting the correct refresh rate and resolution using HDMI to DP cables. I'm guessing the older ones didn't match the needed specifications. After some searching around it appears that DP cables support much higher resolutions than HDMI cables and as my GPU and my monitors both have DP connections it makes sense to use them. They arrive in a sealed Lindy bag and have caps to protect the connectors. The cable themselves are about 8mm in diameter and the connectors are moulded onto the end, they feel nice and sturdy and will hopefully stand the test of time.

Stay Away if your after a 1.4 DisplayPort Cable
Looks like me and a few others have been sent a 1.2 cable when we are after a 1.4 cable which is what is advertised, either change the listing to a 1.2 cable or send out 1.4 cables so frustrating. Going to be hard for me to send back as I am disabled and Amazon wants me to go to drop off points that are far away. So I am stuck with a cable that doesn't do what I need to do

Avoid
Brought 3, first 2 sent back for being 1.2 as opposed to 1.4 cables. The third simply did not work. All in all a waste of time. The £8 replacements work perfectly.

Not worth the price
Already owning good cables from Lindy, I went on purchasing this one. Unfortunately the quality is lower than the previous ones:- the cable jacket is of a different, less soft, material- the plastic cases of the connectors are again of a slightly different plastic and, most of all, the bottom/top halves are not well aligned- the cable is very very thick, other DP 1.4 compliant/certified cables are slimmer and work perfectly- the bag (intentionally?) doesn't indicate any standard, although I know it's a DP 1.2 cable and I'm fine with it; were they concerned that customers could find out it's not a 1.4 cable?- contrary to pretty much every cable out there, including other Lindy cables, there is no indication of the cable type/DP symbol, only the "Lindy" mark on both sides (wow, incredibly useful...).That said, the cable works as expected. However I have also tried to contact Lindy twice on another matter and never received a reply. No more (overpriced) cables from Lindy for me, thanks.

False advertising or label wrong: cable is Displayport 1.2, not 1.4
Do not buy these. They are advertised as Displayport 1.4 cables but when the package arrived, it was labelled as a Displayport 1.2 cable. Amazon were excellent in handling the return but the replacement cable was the same, so that had to go back too.I purchased a fibre-optic cable instead.

doesn't work
Purchased 1. screen flicked on and off and then went black. Item was replaced with another that also didn't work. I obviously checked the ports and used a "working" shorter DP cable to make sure. Company should perhaps make pizzas instead....
