The night vision is terrible and the battery life is pathetic(about an hour and a half). It randomly disconnects during the night and we often wake up to a bright blue screen. The volume all the way up still makes it hard to hear the baby. If you leave it off the charger and the battery dies it will take at least 20 minutes for the screen to come back on after plugging it back in. The screen size is great and that is about the only good thing I can say about it. The lullabies sound horrible when they are actually working. The range varies and often does not work at the far end of our house and our house is not that big.The company contacted me after this review without me asking and offered to send me a free replacement without returning the old one. thought I would give it a tru. After several emails they claimed they were out of stock and would send one shortly and that was two months ago. Looks like the companies customer service is as defective as the products they sell.

I'm actually using this monitor to watch over my elderly mother who recently suffered a heart attack and is going through her rehabilitation. My mom is pretty much an independent lady, so we just want to make sure that when we are not in the room that she is doing good. My wife and I watch over her using the 7" monitor given. The monitor is actually a bare-boned tablet. It receives a 50mhz signal being broadcast by the camera. It roughly reaches 50 meters (54 yards), which is ample for where we need to be around the house. It is possible to use your smart phone to monitor your loved ones. All you need to do is download the app and have it link directly to your wireless router's password and then connect with the camera. After that, wherever you go, you can use your phone to view your loved ones. The reason I did not give 5 stars is due to the fact that there are no passwords needed to access the camera. If anyone knows you have the camera and is able to access your wifi at home, then they are able to access your camera. There needs to be a fix for this. We tried it with a friends phone and low and behold, he was able to access my mom's camera. Besides that, you will be happy with this unit.

I’ve owned a few brands of baby monitors and the display unit of this monitor is probably the nicest given the large size. It’s essentially a tablet that you view the picture on. It’s the same size as my kindle fire (see pic for comparison). In the past I haven’t used WiFi monitors but the setup was easy to follow and so far I haven’t run into any problems. I like this monitor for the basement play area because I’m more clearly able to see what the kids are doing with the large screen. The picture quality is also good. As with other monitors the picture quality is best when the room is light, but this also works in low light.

What a perfect camera. I already have a camera but I needed one more for second baby and I am so happy I got this one. The parent monitor is big and nice. The picture quality is really good. It can capture whole room. It plays rhymes. I cannot brag enough about this camera. I downloaded the app and now I can watch my baby from anywhere. It’s very simple to use.

Everything about this monitor falls short. The night vison is a joke. The 'alarm' is quite literally an alarm & will send you into cardiac arrest & wake the neighbors. The lullibies will terrify your child's before they ever lull them into sleep. And if you are just wanting a unit that is always connected to your baby monitor camera think again. In the first night I had this unit, the stand alone tablet that is suppose to always be connected to the camera disconnected 8 times. I woke up in the middle of the night to silence, only to find the monitor was 'thinking' about reconnecting to the camera. The previous baby monitor I had would go into a sleep mode that turned both the sound & video feed off until it detected motion or sound, this unit does not do this and will blare white noise until it disconnects or the baby wakes & the screens tutns back on. Don't do it. Don't buy this unit. Flush $150 bucks down the toilet, I promise it will be more fulfilling.Also I was under the impression that this unit does not connect to WiFi, & I was mistaken this unit has an app & expects you to connect it to Wi-Fi.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This baby monitor is perfect. Easy to use and has a very good range. The picture quality is great and the camera screen is a nice size. We had another monitor but we did not like it due to it’s bulky size and screen clarity.

I'm soo Soo soooooo disappointed!!! When something sounds too good to be true ....usually is ! I wanted this camera to be good SO badly ! I had a great video camera but it didn't connect online so I wanted one I can see from my phone at work when I went back as well as had a physical one at home. So that was the biggest thing for me ! Come to find out it will only co next to certain phones it won't connect to every phone ! And then don't tell you that on here how misleading is that ! I was so sad when customer service told me that and all they could do was refund 50$ I had aight an extra camera when I got this one. I have had nothing but problems and have been trying, between emailing customer support and figuring user error but just doesn't connect to a galexy pixel! The camera quality is the only good part.battery life sucks so bad and the camera will deliver. And forth for connection. I strongly do not recommend this .
