This is a nice hat and it's suitable for more than the beach. Because the size is adjustable, there's a good chance you can adjust the fit if your head is smaller than the hat's circumference -- usually the case -- and there is an adjustable chinstrap so the hat will stay in-place in a wind. This turned-out to be much better than I expected. it also folds nicely so it's convenient to take along if you travel.I think the brim is on the narrow side so the look you get may not be quite what you expect, but that's in the eye of the beholder. I know that if it were any narrower my opinion would change but all-in-all this hat is effective in offering shade for your face, practical in that it's adjustable and foldable, and stylish enough so that you may want to wear it at the beach or a garden party or in-between.

Hat is super easy to fold and travel with. The hat is lightweight and the brim withstands the beach winds. Great sun protection. Also I have a larger head and this fits beautifully. Has a nice velcro band on the inside that allows you to fit it more to your head. One MINOR point for myself -- the ribbon is adorable, but with the wind blowing you hear it constantly slapping on the back of the hat. I do not mind it, but next purchase I will buy a hat with a tight ribbon only.

I had ordered this hat after extensive research for my upcoming family trip to Egypt and Jordan. This was the one that checked all the boxes. The UPF 50 material was essential for the local desert and beach weather, the interior sashes would allow an almost perfect fit, the interior cap lining would prevent sun rays, but was light enough for a good air flow. The quality stitching and material throughout the hat was strong enough to withstand the countless use and sometimes abuse. Easy to clean with a lightly damp cloth and air to dry.The one problem was the thin sash that was used to secure the hat under the chin-that later broke off, due to the constant tying and untying. There was also a small unstitched seam in the back of the hat, that loosened up in Jordan, but I can easily repair that myself. I would say that due to some of the harsh travel conditions, I am extremely lucky to have selected this sturdy and yet fashionable travel hat for our buck list trip !

This is a very comfortable and good looking straw hat. It came with a chin strap necessary in wind, but it can be hidden as well for the look. Although the brim is not very wide, but its down sloping shape seems to make the coverage larger. I got this for my recent trip and liked it a lot. It was quite light and soft, yet the shape held up very well after daily usage for 20 days. Unfortunately, I lost it and I just had to buy another one. The only thing is if it's truly "foldable" in the luggage. Its description states foldable, but it didn't seem to be.

Love this hat. Fit is adjustable and it has a neck strap so the wind can't blow it off. Wore it to the beach this weekend and never had glare on my face. Really a cute hat.

I was looking for a hat to protect my head for an upcoming beach trip and found this one, which was exactly what I was looking for! Not only is it very comfortable, you can adjust the band for a snugger or looser fit and the chord helps to keep the hat on your head on a windy day. If you don’t want to use the chord, it tucks safely up into the hat without affecting the comfort. The weave is very tight which gives it a high SPF and the brim is wide enough to cover your face, ears and back of your neck. This hat will look great with a swimsuit on the beach or with a cute sundress. I’m so glad I found this great little sun hat!

It seems to be a nice quality hat and I really liked the colors. However, while the large/XL size did technically fit my big head, it was uncomfortably tight. I just couldn't imagine actually wearing it for an extended period of time and I was afraid it would leave a crease in my hair after wearing. I also assumed it would give me a headache from being so tight. So, if you have a big head and super thick hair, like I do, you may want to keep shopping until you find a larger product. I had to return this, which was a bummer, since I was looking forward to having a sun hat for my upcoming cruise.

This hat is so cute! I read a lot of reviews saying it was too small, so I ordered a large (I have a medium/large head anyways) but it's a little bit too big. Not enough to bother returning for a size down though, it still looks cute and works great.

I generally have a hard time finding sun hats that actually fit my head (they're always too big) but this one actually fits me! I got the medium size and it fits me perfect! I didn't even need to adjust it smaller. Great for the those summer sunny days and/or vacation getaways!

Fits just right and apparently it suits me.I would recommend to a friend.
