So my Apple cord lasted about a year and then I bought a flat "noodle" cord for $5 to replace it. That didn't last long so I did some research and decided to order these cords in hopes of not having to replace them again before my next phone upgrade was available in about 9 months. These worked great for about 4 1/2 months (I tried both cords when I got them but then jut use the one and put the other aside as a backup), when BOTH completely stopped charging my 4s. I went to my cellular provider as I thought my phone was the problem - what's the chances that neither cord worked all of a sudden? - and they plugged my phone in a charger they had and it started charging right away. I even had them try their cord with my AC adapter to make sure it wasn't that but it turned out that both my cords were dead :-/ Since the 4s is obsolete, my cell provider no longer carried cords for sale so I had to go the cheapest generic cord at Walmart for $15 (the Apple one is about $40). Really bummed about these because they were constructed much better than the Apple cords (thicker cord covering) and the extra length was great. I should have saved my money and fristration and just got the $15 one at Walmart in the first place.

Larrger connection heat makes it easier to use with iphone life case
I had purchased a set of three or five earlier with different sizes. I didn't see the company in Amazon this time. Because I use a life-case on my iphone 4s, it leaves less space to hold onto and have to pull harder to get it out of the phone. The joint pulled slightly so to make the connection work only if I moved the cord around to make the wires inside connect.I've only had this new set a few weeks but it seems to be reinforced at that joint much better and there is more to hold on to, so it is easier to pull out of phone. So far so good.

They fit perfect for IPhone 4S.
I ordered these cables a few weeks ago and received them on time. So far both cables work just as expected and I bought them in February 2015 and they are still working fine as of May 18th, 2015. Good quality cables. They fit perfectly into my I Phone 4S. They charge quickly and hopefully will last longer than the Belkin cables I bought at Apple. The Belkin cable lasted about 1.5 months then just stopped working. The cable seems well built and sturdy. So far they have both kept working and it has been about four month now. Still working fine after 4 months.

The length of the cord is a big win, ...
The length of the cord is a big win, but the product quality is not ideal. One charger stopped working 30 days in - so it lasted just long enough to void a return. I'm leaving 3 stars, as the other charger continues to work and it is possible that I received one that was a defect/poorly built.

Definitely recommend
I love the length of these cords. They are longer than the apple cord that comes with your phone. It is also a lot more durable. Every Apple cord I have had has come apart at the end and has eventually stopped working. I have had this one for about 2 months now and I have had no problems with it. My husband and I both have IPhones and between the two of us we use these cords daily.

cables of good length. Of the two
cables of good length. Of the two, one has failed about about 2 weeks for no obvious reason. tried many different power adapters with no success. Other one is still functional. Might be apple certified though reliability at 50% is not reasonable.

Stopped working
These cords have already stopped working. They were used every night overnight for a couple of months. Then one morning I noticed my device was not charged. tried several times to reconnect with no charge. Unplugged cord and didn't use for a week then tried again. No good. I have cords I have used for years that still work. These don't ! ! !. Don't waste your money.

worked great...for a month
They were great for about a month or two until they broke. They are cheap for a reason and it's because they are as fragile as glass. If you put them in a bag or move them around too much the wires get disconnected inside the insulation and the cord stops working
