Directions

Preparation: How to use? Adults and children aged 12 years and over: 1 spray into each nostril, 2 or 3 times daily. Do not give to children under 12 years old. Do not use more than 3 doses in 24 hours. Remove the plastic cap, insert nozzle into the nostril. Depress the pump by placing the fingers on either side of the nozzle. At the same time breathe in deeply through the nose. Repeat for the other nostril. See leaflet for further information and full directions.

Do not use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. If you are taking any other medicine consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this product. Continuous use for over 7 days is not recommended. If symptoms persist or worsen discontinue use and consult your doctor. Keep out of sight and reach of children.

So the product provides temporary relief but does not provide long term improvement. I read about it in a newspaper and they described it as the \"rebound effect\". I stopped using it frequently because of this. My wife even uses it for allergy relief when she's out of her regular allergy medicine. It contains 325 mg acetaminophen (for aches and fever), 10 mg dextromethorphan HBr (for the cough) and 100 mg guaifenesin (cough expectorant) and 5 mg Phenylephrine HCl (nasal decongestant) in each tablet. The recommended dosage is 2 tablets every 4 hours. Do not take more than 10 tablets in a 24 hour period or liver damage may occur. These are non-drowsy medication and the box contains 24 tablets. It temporarily relieves sinus pressure, sore throat, chest congestion, headache and cough. It is recommended for adults and children 12 years and older.I have good results with these. I don't take them and go to bed though, as I won't be able to sleep afterwards. They are loaded with everything one needs to combat your cold symptoms and get through the work day.
